I called five days ago to make a reservation which was prepaid. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I was told they do not accept the card I had used to make payment although they had no trouble taking the funds from the card. I was told the reservation would need to be cancelled. I am still waiting for my funds to be returned five days later. I have spoken with countless people. One Customer Service Agent was extremely rude. I have had calls disconnected. Still I do not have my money. I am told it may take ten business days! I have never dealt with Budget before and never will again! I have rented from other companies and have never had such a terrible experience!

Had to rent a car for a few days. Charged a $750 deposit plus the rental fee which is ridiculous. When it came time to do a walk around of the car I noticed some scuff marks. I pointed this out to the employee, and he said the scuff marks are not a big deal. I started taking some pictures of the marks and the employee started getting rude about it saying there's no need for pictures. I feel if I didn't take the pictures they would have tried to keep my deposit. Upon return of the car they said my deposit was released but I'm very skeptical I will
get it back. I won't be taking my business here again.

Would highly recommend this place for all car rental needs. Staff are friendly, and very accommodating. Car I rented was in good condition, and clean.

I just came back home from out of province and needed to rent a car for a couple of days. First, the website kept changing the price on me when I was reserving a vehicle (didn't change anything).
Upon arrival, the place is VERY unkempt. The main lobby smells like old scent pods that are scattered around with flies/bugs on them. The windows haven't been cleaned in MONTHS, if ever. They still have covid information up as well. Weeds growing up the windows and no pride whatsoever in their location.
Service is terrible, I was never notified that my deposit would be $750. When I asked if this was normal, he just said, "Yeah, and I can't fix it. I got an email after picking up the car that stated my deposit "may" be up to $750. For what reason? I have a clean driving record, over the age of 25, and have a major credit card. I hesitated but agreed to it. How is this budget friendly??
The car was a grey Chevy Malibu, which looked relatively clean on the outside. But the inside had juice or something all over the doors, and the car looked like it had never been wiped down. The gentleman who showed me the car seemed quite surprised when I took out my camera and took a video of the exterior and interior. Stating that the car was in good condition, so it wasn't necessary.
I'd skip here all together and go somewhere that cares. 😑

I flew from NS and rented a car from this location on-line. Ruban upgraded us plus enabled data. The car was top of the line as was the service! I've never been so pleased with service! I highly recommend this location and Ruban for his kindness!

DO NOT pick up or drop off late or you will get a lecture and a fee. Angry individual works at the front desk.

Not a fake review! What a terrific location. Ruban was extremely kind and helpful. He was extremely accommodating with my rental. When I urgently needed a car rental, he was very open and was happy to save a car for me over the telephone.
When returning the car, he always inspects the vehicle with you and is very reasonable on any issues.
It is disappointing to see such poor comments about him and this branch.

Fantastic, professional service. Usually no longer than a 10 min wait. The cars are always clean and reliable. Have rented here multiple times and will continue to do so!
