Be careful. I was filling regular gas, but was billed for premium V-Power 93. The app/pump interface is misleading and seems to default to premium. Very disappointing experience, and the employee provided little to no help after I raised the issue.

Same excuse, every time, same excuse, every time.
We can pay them over a hundred dollars.But don't have change for a hundred if you want to put twenty five dollars in way to go

Be careful with your cards. I wanted to put $15 regular gas. The clerk charged me 165 an activated three gift cards fifty dollars each by accident.She claims. Then, refunds a 150 back onto my card.
And a half hrs later, my card information was stolen. I had charges. I did not do over $450 worth. And could have been more if I didn't block my card.

It lost two stars for these reasons.
1st) Its mandatory pre-pay. I dont usually mind that except the screen wasn't working on the pump, forcing you to walk inside and wait in line to pay, then go back in and wait in line to get your receipt.
2nd) If you are paying for fuel with a gift card, be prepared to be annoyed. You can't pay at the pump with them, so you have to go in. Then, you can only use one payment form for pre-pay... so if you have a $25 gift card but need $100 in fuel, you need to pre-pay $25 with your gift card, go pump it, go back inside, wait in line again, then prepay for the rest.
My problem was amplified because I had 2 $25 gift cards and I need receipts for business purposes... so I had to wait in line, use first gift card, go pump gas, go wait in line, use 2nd gift card, go pump gas, go wait in line, pre-pay with my own card, go pump gas... then because the screen isn't working on my pump, go back in to get my receipt!
What a production! Gotta fix this Shell, you're a premium company with a premium cost. Do better!

Yesterday I went to get some beer. The beer I got was steam whistle. The price label for that item was 18.75. When I went to checkout. It said it is 19.99$. When confronted with the employee, he said it must be the old price. I understand if the are selling it at a higher price than lcbo or beer store but why not keep an updated price label. The employee said they will change it to new price but I don’t know if they did. If anybody reads this review. Please make sure you are paying the same price as in the label for other things that you may purchase as somebody is pocketing this extra money.

July 10th I was double charged for $40.01 worth of gas, today July 16th when I notice this issue I come to resolve it to which I'm met with a woman who claims she is new and has already informed a man ahead of me in line that she can't sell gift cards, is now telling me she can't issue or deal with refunds. She then knocks on the door to the back office and a man comes out claiming that the store is under new management as of July 12th. He gives me a number to Shell corporate which is not open until Monday. They seem under the impression the money is being refunded directly from their pocket and despite my vehicle not even being able to hold $80.02 worth of gas at a time the current 'manager' is apparently unable to refund the money I was over charged.I don't think anyone at this location knows how to do their job.
