Just visited for the first time with my 5 year old son who has a new interest in pokemon and this was the perfect place to go! I was so impressed with the warm welcome. All the staff were very kind, accommodating and knowledgeable. Lots of things to choose from with a great range in prices. Will definitely be back!

Pokemon and Magic community are great and so is the Yu-gi-oh community, Thankfully there are no goofy little funny guys who have a God complex but no actual results to back up their ego making it a great and safe place for beginner’s and children learning or getting into a TCG. Would recommend if you are looking for anything Pokemon, Magic or Yu-gi-oh related. Looking to get out of the basement to play cards with your friends? The game room during events is very clean, the managers are quite handsome and the staff are friendly? What more could you ask for? If I had a dollar for every time that place had what I was looking for I could build a million wells in Africa!

Easily the worst trading card games locals I've ever gone to, and it's not even close. Most of the staff are inept at their job, and the ones who know what they're doing are too "busy" to help customers.The cards are overpriced, any house/staple card in their display case will be minimum 110% retail going as far as 130% on the high end cards. And their reasoning for it? "We're the only card store in the area for singles" as if online ordering doesn't exist.And it's not just the singles, any time a new set is selling they'll increase the price well above MSRP to rake in the most profit instead of just ordering more products to sell which would get the same (or more) profit without taking advantage of their customers.If you're buying cards, go on ANY Yu-Gi-Oh Facebook group (like D&K) or if you're looking to sell those groups are also fantastic. Most vendors buy cards for 65-75% of their TCGPlayer value, well above the Skyfox 40-60%.There are plenty of other card game stores that will actually appreciate your business and hard earned money, so please don't give Skyfox anything.

Extremely poor customer service/bait and switch.Here is a warning to people who consider buying singles from Skyfox games in Ontario online.During boxing week, I placed an online order to purchase a small number of specific cards from Skyfox Games, one of which is a reserve list card (Su-Chi). Two days later, I was sent an email to confirm that I wanted my order. I presume that it was due to the dollar value of the order. I promptly responded with "Yes, please proceed with the order." Please note, Skyfox games has fairly high shipping charges for shipping regardless of the size of the order.The next day, Skyfox Games sent an automatic email refunding for Su-Chi. The package was subsequently sent out without Su-Chi within a couple of hours without giving me any time to reach out to Skyfox Games regarding the refund.When I inquired with Skyfox Games, I was informed that, "Due to an inventory error they did not actually have the card in question. Please note, at no time prior to this, any live person from Skyfox Games contacted me about the missing Su-Chi or asked if I would still like the order since it is missing Su-Chi from the shipment. Had I been given a choice, I would have absolutely asked for the whole order to be cancelled for a full refund.I informed Skyfox games that I was not happy. Those cards were purchased as a set despite the extremely high cost of shipping from their website. For reference my order at the time was $450 CAD for 5 cards. Their competitors Face to Face Games gives FREE shipping on TCG singles above $100 and 401games gives FREE shipping above $165.Furthermore, by the time I was informed of the cancellation of Su-Chi, the boxing week was over, and pricing has returned to regular retail. If I had known that I was unable to obtain the card from Skyfox, then I would have purchased it and the other cards elsewhere.I ended my email with "What would be a reasonable course of action in this situation?"Their response to my inquiry was to focus on the shipping inquiry citing "It is industry standard to treat orders this way." and that the cost was incumbent on the insurance on the package.
