I ordered 5 postcard chocolates over a month ago, all to be shipped to different locations in Canada. With shipping, it cost me about $70.
None of them have been received. I sent Alicja two emails with no response and tried calling multiple times, but no one picked up.
While I understand that their may have been delays and factors out of their control, I would have really liked at least an acknowledgment that my email was received, and a commitment to try to resolve the issue.

Placed an order for two postcard bars in September 23. The email confirming shipment came October 1. I still haven’t received it, and don’t expect to. I recommend that shoppers buy in person. I feel very let down by this experience.

I wanted to send something to a friend in Toronto for his birthday and the chocolate postcard idea seemed really neat. However it took a while to ship (almost 2 weeks, even though it was in Canada) and then I find out he never received it. I double checked all the info to make sure the shipping address was correct. I emailed customer service and received no answer. Very disappointing as these chocolates are not exactly cheap. Won't be ordering from them again.

I looked for a Canadian chocolate store to send a box of chocolates, as a thank you gift, to my cousin who now lives in Canada. I thought Alicja Confections looked promising, so I placed an order through their website. I included a thank you note but there was no way to review it before placing an order, so after I placed my order, I contacted them asking them to please verify whether they got it or not (and to confirm they had the right spellings). No response. Then, a few days later, I emailed them again, asking them why it was projected to take 12 days (almost two weeks) for delivery, because when I placed the order, the shipping duration was listed as 4-5 days (they charge $20 for shipping so it wasn't cheap either). No response. Then today, I find out that my cousin never received the package, even though, tracking says it was delivered in their mailbox. I'm shocked that Alicja Confections did not make it a requirement for the post office to deliver the package to the recipient. Apparently, they think it is okay to leave perishables in a metal mailbox during a heatwave. Very disappointed and won't be ordering from them again.

Very good chocolate, one of the best in Ottawa for sure! Many original flavors that you'll enjoy! They also do very good hot chocolates.

Order received almost 2 weeks late for Valentine’s Day despite ordering them 3 weeks prior to the day.The chocolates are very good and the packaging is innovative, but customer service and (timeliness obviously) could be drastically better.

We ordered a postcard chocolate with a fishing theme for a friends birthday. He enjoyed it very much and commented on the beautiful presentation.

This place took my breath away.The creativity, colour scheme, design, and not to mention the chocolate made me want to stay all day and soak it all up.The artisanal chocolate and bon bons evokes fun, self care, indulgence - happy thoughts!Some drinks and coffee are also served. Seating would be nice to enjoy inside.

Ordered online. Packaging is very nice. Not crazy about the "personal message" label on the postcard chocolate. If I knew that the personal message was printed on an Avery mailing label, I would have opted out. Label looks cheap. That said, overall package is nice. The gingerbread chocolate is really flavourful.

The staff is as sweet as their chocolates. The designs on the packaging is always beautiful and my go to for gifts. A must visit if your in westboro
