Walk in randomly and have a great experience on tasting and understanding the ingredients and making procedure of the high quality olive old and balsamico.
The staff are kind and professional. They will recommend the best way to taste each kind of balsamico, and the most suitable selection if you want to buy their products as a gift.

Recently purchased a ceramic oil dispenser, spouts and some delicious olive oil. Aurelius are a wonderful small business with great products and outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality olive oils and vinegars, etc.

Cute shop with a variety of flavoured olive oil and balsamic vinegars. Feels curated and high-quality. Great story too, I believe the owner is an ex-military veteran with a passion for olive oil.
Docking a star because it’s kind of hit or miss with the customer service. I’d still recommend this store but I won’t be returning myself.

The garlic cilantro balsamic vinegar is the best part of any salad. Even those who can’t stand cilantro like it in salads. I’ve never liked a balsamic vinegar as much. Amazing !!!

TLDR: Fancy and expensive vinegars and oils. Tasty and worth the splurge. I had walked by Aurelius many times, as it's in my neighbourhood, but had never gone in. The store sells balsamic vinegars and olive oils in a variety of cool flavours such as Green Apple balsamic vinegar and Citrus Habanero olive oil. Their products are similar to those of The Unrefined Olive, which I have been to a few times. My husband and I received a gift card for Aurelius from a friend of ours for Christmas, so that's actually what brought us into the store. We ended up getting 3 small bottles ($8.99 each). They were 60ml bottles. The larger bottles are a better deal since you get 200ml for $17.99, but we wanted to try a greater variety of flavours. We got a Pear white balsamic, a Mango dark balsamic and a Smoked Hickory olive oil. The mango balsamic vinegar was sweet and full of potent mango flavour and aroma. The pear balsamic vinegar was just as good as the mango one. The pear flavour was strong. I would drizzle these on salads unadulterated, lol. No oil, no other spices, just the vinegar, and it made salads delicious. The Hickory smoked olive oil is phenomenal. It has a potent smokey aroma. I like adding it to roasted Brussels sprouts. It gives it that smokey flavour without having to add artery-clogging bacon, lol. Service was courteous and friendly. The store is a good size, but only the front section is accessible to customers. The back is for staff only. They had some nice displays at the front, with several packages ready for gifting. We walked over, but it's street parking only, which is not surprising for businesses in Wellington West. I would say that street parking is not that hard to find in the area, but you may have to park on a side street and walk over, and parking might be more difficult to find in the winter when the streets are narrowed by snow banks. Always the best quality olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Love the flavour options and the taste testing in store! You can also find some pantry items and ceramics in store, which is fantastic!

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Aurelius yesterday. They were so patient and helpful with my many emails before I picked up my order. When I arrived, I fell in love with the shop. It’s just beautiful. I bought a variety of sample bottles and couldn’t wait to get home and start trying them out. There was a large quantity of smooth olive oil, rich, delicious balsamic vinegars and slices of baguette consumed at my house last night. I enjoyed every bite. I’ll be back to buy more of my favourites and to pick up a few new ones.

I appreciate the products at this store, but what I value most is the exceptional staff. The team makes you feel important, especially Mike, who frequently engages with customers and consistently demonstrates friendliness. Very friendly, accommodating to my young twins who were very intrigued by all the flavours. Tried sample of the peach balsamic. Bought four different olive oils and balsamic vinegars. I love the layout, the flavours, and quality. Will be visiting again and again!
