Extremely bad customer service at this branch and CIBC in general. We escalated the case to the branch and area managers, and the head office, and still no change... Note all of the 1 star reviews here and avoid at all costs.

Horrible customer service. The African Canadian Manager was extremely manipulative and wanted to me make feel bad because I inquired about the $45 NSF. She spoke to me with bitter demeanor and condescending language. I immediately asked her to close my account. I went next door and opened a new account with BOM.

I had more then enough $ in my.personal saving account to cover the amount i needee . But when I needed to get a certified chq from my business account they wouldn't allow more then 5k $ to be released, even though the funds were coming from my personal account without any hold. Both accounts were in CIBC. After 1.5hrs with the manager she finally allowed the funds the 3k to be released.

Manan is the best. I only ever book with him to have consults and he is so knowledgeable and amazing. Super transparent and takes his time to explain everything

I have the worst banking experience here and with CIBC, after opening accounts with them for 12 days, I want to close the accounts and be done with them. Poor communication with clients, poor record keeping and customer service.

I couldn’t book the appointment online because it didn’t give me a location near me. It was very complicated to find the services we need. You always have to go and book an appointment in a branch.

CIBC, I hope you get this and I hope you read this. I have one to two branches today and I faced racism two times the fact that I’ve been a customer for almost 9 years and I’ve been humiliated two times today. The branch manager Felt the need to use her powers to show me that I am absolutely nothing and will be nothing to CIBC. Joey Lou Baker is her name, Thank you .

I tried to deposit money in my bank account because i needed it today and the machine didn’t recognize the money and when I went to the counter they told me it need at least 6 Business days to get back to my account

So slow, never more than 2 tellers on, a line of only 5 people took almost 30 minutes. Unacceptable.Avoid this branch management hasn't a clue how to staff.
