Excellent Audio StoreI travelled from Montreal to visit Distinctive Audio.The store may not look like much, but don’t let that fool you. It is packed with excellent audio equipment.The store owner (Rheal) is passionate, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to two Channel audio, especially tube audio.Rheal setup a nice demo. There was no rush, and no pressure. I purchased a beautiful Unison Research tube amp.Highly recommend store.

Purchased many items from Rheal over the years! Latest was a set of Cardas speaker cables, and as always being allowed to try something in your own system before purchasing, is a tremendous bonus! Shops like Distinctive are hard to come-by today and need to be supported. The knowledge, experience and passion is something I for one truly appreciate and value!!! Thanks Rheal, Your stories are pretty good too!!!

Very very pleased with my phono preamp purchase. I was able to try it out over a weekend before deciding but it quickly became a no brainer that this unit gave us a big jump in sound quality. Delivered to me in person (due to pandemic store was closed). Bottomline: my wife and I are very pleased and enjoying our music every night.

I dropped by Distinctive Audio last week and can confirm Rheal is doing very well and his shop has a renewed sense of energy and passion. The store had a new coat of paint, new carpets and some new A/C outlets. Rheal, also looking and sounding refreshed, mentioned he will be hanging some one of a kind, audio related, art onto the walls to make things even nicer...
Distinctive Audio will be celebrating its 30th year anniversary this month (1986 - 2016) and I suggest stopping in to see the new digs.
