The staff is not trained very well! Most employees are kids and really don't care about shoppers! Be careful with the new Moi Card, 9 out of ten times it doesn't work you end up with nothing. The store it's self is not stocked very well and a lot of products sold with the Selections name are bad quality. The manager is clueless!

I go for the international grocery selection and excellent produce section. Don't go here expecting high quality meats. Best prices tho.

Disrespectful of senior citizens who have given Metro stores so much business through the years.
There is no senior discount for poor seniors struggling to eat decently enough to avoid costly health problems.
There is a student discount so there should be for seniors too!
It's a no Brainer bad corporate decision.

I’ve been to this Food Basics store multiple times on the first day of promotions, only to find that the on-sale items are already out of stock with no sign of replenishment. When I asked employees for help, they simply said ‘no more’ without any care or effort to assist. On top of that, the staff at the self-checkout stations seem consistently unpleasant and unapproachable. It’s disappointing to experience such poor customer service and unavailability of advertised products.

Everything was really good except the supervisor working over there. I have asked her simple question and she gave me a really rude answer to that. She was literally not doing any work other than talking with employees around her while having coffee at workplace. Five star for the grocery but not even 1 for the behavior.

Much better prices than Loblaws, store is usually well stocked and clear aisles. Various times of day and it's rarely crowded.

The lady working at the self checkout at 5:48pm on June 27, I don’t remember her name but she was absolute on the ball! She knew the produce codes like no ones business and absolute sped up the flow of the self-checkout with a great attitude and professional support. Amazing work!
