It's a great store with great staff. The only reason it gets 4 ot of 5 stars is the low number of cashes, and good odds that sale proteins will not get restocked till 9 or 10 am.

Good prices,,,just less choice.
It's a very convenient store due to its location in the middle of a high density population area with a multitude of national variety.
We find we can get just about everything we need for daily foodstuffs such as fruit and vegetables and meats or chicken or fish or shrimp and such.
Plenty of good ..on sale items often and regulary.
Parking lot is not a bad size but can become crowded on busy days.
Best earlier in the day and not on Friday evening or Saturday.
Many items low stock now.

I tried to place an order and I had a reserved time slot. When I wanted to pay, I couldn't because they said there were no more time slots. When I called the store, they couldn't help me nor did they seem to care. There's is a lot more to do to the website to make user friendly. I lost a lot of time. They just lost a customer.

Extremely unprofessional manager his name was mark his store associate was not helpful and when i told her i will talk to the manager about you she start following me aisle by aisle to go and talk go and talk and finally when the manager come instead of being professional to solve the problem he was threatening me to kick me out if the store… Every body know the manager does not own food basics extremely doing treason to his job… I hope the upper management should really take a step about this kind of people

Today due to power outage the store was closed, power was back before 6 pm, Friday evening, I was waiting by the entrance with many other customers for over 50 minutes for the store to reopen, I called 2 times and an employee said they gonna open in 5 minutes, nothing happened for 15 minutes called again and an employee said they gonna open in 10 minutes and I waited yet another 30 minutes, no one even coming to doors, they all just ignored customers waiting by the doors!!!! Very irresponsible , even tried to ask for what was planned to buy asked over the phone if they can check the inventory but they said they don’t have anyone in the section, very bad experience , very gave up and went home after 50 minutes waiting in cold
