I was helped by a fellow named Yash at the Rideau Center location. He was very helpful all throughout the process.
I had to contact the store in the morning prior to coming in and Yash guided me through the process and also put the device that I was planning to acquire on hold to ensure it would indeed still be available later in the day when I would arrive.
He spent a good 30 minutes assisting me with various aspects of the process and was very kind and friendly from beginning to end.
I also overserved him, and other staff there with him, interacting with others and noticed how helpful and kind they treated everyone who came in the store.
I certainly recommend not only Freedom Mobile, but also specifically the Rideau Center location.
It appears to me that they do all they can to assist Freedom customers or those interested in joining Freedom.
Thanks Yash, for the time and help. Greatly appreciated.

I was at the Rideau location recently and I was helped by Mo. Mo was amazing, attentive and very patient. Mo went above and beyond to help me and provided me with the best customer service I’ve had in a very long while. Thank you.

Would not recommend. Paid my bill yesterday and still no service. Showed them a statement from my bank, sneering weasel manager insists they've not received payment, actually says to pay again and they'll sort it out. Refund or not, I'll be switching providers after this nonsense.

Luke, the store manager of Freedom at the Rideau Centre, provided some of the best customer care I’ve ever received anywhere! Not only did he possess in-depth knowledge of my iPhone 15 Pro helping to troubleshoot issues, but he also showed genuine care and professionalism in assisting me. Luke went above and beyond to ensure that I received the best possible help and guidance and accommodated me when the Freedom level 2 technical team, Freedom Escalation Team Supervisors – yes many, and Apple and their store and repair centre couldn’t. Overall, a fantastic experience that left me feeling valued as a customer. Big kudos to Luke and his team’s exceptional customer service!

Garbage. Sleazy salesperson went on the defensive as soon as we tried explaining the problem we had signing up on the website. He seemed to be preprogrammed to deny and all references to the discounts and offers online. Told us his manager was on vacation for two weeks and hence nobody for us to talk to, which is obviously a lie. Stores always have an acting manager or somebody in charge. I’m sure I would have received better service if I was of a different demographic. Anyways, perhaps just stay away from this location. My brother in Victoria, BC just had 2 new lines activated in store and activation fees waived by the manager. He referred me and I signed up online activation fee waived. I referred my husband and he ran into an issue online and received a message to go into store. If he was going to have it waived online and is directed to the store, then it should be waived in store. Terrible service in store. Not sure if my family made the right choice switching to them now.

This store had me and my mother stressed out. I felt rushed, I was confused and was just trying to get her a phone plan. Apparently now you need a credit card with ID to do a contract - funny thing is, I've never ever owned a credit card in my life and I've had my contract renew for years. I did not sign up with a credit card 7+ years ago. Not everyone owns a credit card or even wants one. This place made me uncomfortable and filled me with anxiety. You also need more staff to deal with the amount of people coming in and provide quality NOT rushed customer service......Not a fan of this location.
