Man what can I say. I had a night out with my wife and the comics were absolute killers. The vibe of the club is also peak. A cool basement bar with tables set up for people to chill and watch the show. They had this light that you just turned on if you wanted to order something. At the end of the night Rob the manager came up to us and introduced himself. He was a sweetheart and everything there was just perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Came here to see Benny Feldman. It was our first time here, and we had a great time. It's a really friendly, inviting space, and the service was excellent. I look forward to going back.

First time going there seeing Benny Feldman,Iit was a little hard to find (maybe that's my fault but let's not get into details) but the venue was amazing and the food/drink was delicious!

Good times. A couple or three up & comers, a decent host and a solid set from the headliner. Drinks served promptly and well priced. Not my first visit, won't be my last -- happy to see a comedy club make it in ByWard.
I won't tag individual performers in this review so it stays current -- but if you were on stage on October 17th '25, I enjoyed your act 😉

What an incredible experience at the Laugh Lounge! I was first approached with free tickets, which was already such a fun surprise, and I decided to use them to celebrate a friend’s birthday. From the very beginning — even through the DMs on Instagram while discussing the tickets — the team went out of their way to make sure our night was special. They really took the time to understand that this was a birthday celebration and listened to all of our requests, including putting us in the middle instead of directly in the front row, which was a great spot to be!
When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and directed straight to our table. The service throughout the night was amazing. Our waiter, Robert, set the tone with his humour — even adding a playful spin to the drink names when he took our orders, which had us all laughing before the show even started. Jacob was there to oversee the event and was incredibly welcoming, entertaining, and kind. Kia also made the evening even more enjoyable with his thoughtful and friendly energy, which really added to the overall experience. And of course, the comedy itself was top-notch: Arthur headlined with so much energy, the MC was hilarious, and every comic brought real quality entertainment.
The entire staff went above and beyond to make this birthday celebration one we’ll never forget. Huge thanks to Robert, Jacob, Kia, Arthur, the MC, and the whole Laugh Lounge team for creating such a fun, welcoming, and memorable night. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Ottawa’s best comedy club, hands down. Is it underground? Yes. Are there rats? Only the ones who give this absolute gem a bad review. Describe it? It’s like going to your mom’s house for dinner but you’re the one being roasted by stellar comics like Nick Burden. Live, Laugh, Lounge.
