The level of service was not just poor but rude. I came in to do some custom hat embroidery and the guy working was wearing his headphones talking on the phone. I asked if he was busy which he asked me to repeat and did. Then instead of assisting me he continued to keep his headphones on while still on the call (I could see his cell phone screen) and wasn’t forthcoming for what I was asking about.This was my third visit to the store inside a week. The first time the guy gave me instructions, then the second time the guy gave me different instructions. I came back a third time and nothing worked. Would have to pay Lids to do the work I’d just done.All in all terrible experience. If I were the store manager that would certainly have been a strike against the employee for failing to provide customer service.Will not be returning to thislocation.

Knowledgeable staff when I went. I often pass by the store and it is closed while the rest of the mall is open - unsure why.

Went in for custom hats for my ball team. Ordered about 40 hats in different styles and Logan was great at keeping everything organized. Order came in 100% perfect and the hats look amazing.

I went to this store Wednesday 11, 2023 at about 7pm. I needed a black and white jersey to match my shoes. The store attendant showed me different options and their corresponding prices. I stepped out of the store to another store and came back like 15 minutes later. Then I asked him for one of the jerseys he showed me earlier for $190 plus. Then I asked him how much, just to confirm cost. He tells me it's $230. I was alarmed at the sudden increase in cost and asked why the sudden change. He tells me the price went up in the space of twenty minutes. Perhaps he saw me as being desperate for a jersey. For me I see that as being dubious. I'll never go there again.

Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and Customer service that was received today by their Manager. It is not inexpensive to purchase from Lids and when requesting custom you would hope the employee your dealing with is professional and confident.This has was done incorrectly and when questioned, it was said to bad and you signed it. I signed a paper that only stated 8 ball and the manager at the time said he was ill and not feeling well so was not sure he would be able to complete it. He also said he would not sdo anything and that was that.So many disappointments in this experience.I will NOT recommend this location or associate ....very sad

I was looking for a KC jersey and called the store. Ethan was a pleasure to deal with, letting me know they had lots of them and put one aside for me. the following morning when i picked it up Logan was on shift. He was happy and very pleasant and took the time to talk to me regarding the jersey and size. Both Logan and Ethan were professional but most important showed that they cared about their clients. I will definitely return to lids and that location based on the service i received. thank you Lucette

I drove an hour to the lids in Bayshore mall in Ottawa. I tried to return a present that had the sticker removed by the purchaser from the brim. I did not have the receipt and was told it was required for the return. This is completely understandable. I was told with the receipt I would be able to return the item. I was able to get the receipt and retuned a couple weeks later (hour drive again) only to be told that it can’t be returned because of the missing sticker and now it’s out of the “return window.” Both times, the hat was in the employees hand, yet the two had differing ideas on what is returnable and the limitations on returning items. The lack of consistency in customer service should be a real concern for this company. Not only was I led to by the first employee, but I wasted hours of time for something that apparently wouldn’t happen in the first place even with the receipt. I for one will not waste my time to drive to their stores again when everything can be purchased online.

I came in to have a hat embroidered for my husband. The manager Logan was so nice and made sure that I was perfectly satisfied with the end result! He took the time to make sure everything was straight and perfect and was so nice to talk to. He definitely knows how to make customers happy and have a great experience. Thank you so much Logan, my husband loved it!

It’s 10:12am and the store is supposed to be open at 10am on this Friday. I have been waiting since before 10am for them to open but no one is here. Not sure if someone is running late but I don’t suggest coming first thing in the morning. 10 more minute and I will be leaving and going to another lids location. April 29th 2022Also every store is open in the mall but this one

I purchased a cap for my son. The staff at the store was super helpful! And I got my cap personalized with my sons name and they did it before store closed. I recommend this place!

I am a big fan of yankees hat. I was looking for the burgundy colour one. They had it at this location could not be more happy.They always carry a lot of different style. The only negative is that it can be hard to find something.
