I don't really shop here unless it's an emergency. The prices seem to be quite expensive compared to my regular shopping places. They hardly offer accessible deals for day-to-day staples and produce.

I will no longer shop at this store. I have thrown out way too much food and wasted a lot of time and money because when I get home and open the package the food is already rotten. I am talking same day purchases. Yesterday I bought basil which was already bad; lettuce half of it is thrown away to find any good pieces; the bacon from the deli I could see through. All costing way too much in the first place. Then you have to go back out and purchase your items somewhere else. Also you have to look at every best before date for non produce items because the don’t care to remove items that have expired. They count on you not going back to get a refund. Big rip off.

I went to get a last minute cake for my 3 yr old. Lisa from the bakery fix it and placed à topper on it. It was delicious (swiss chocolate truffle).

Great grocery store. I go here weekly and find it better priced than Loblaws. The store is new and clean. My only issue is that the one corner of the store has a strange smell when it rains. I think some pipes are having venting issues. Hope they fix this so I can give Lincoln Fields Metro 5 stars.

I love shopping at this Metro and as usual found everything I was looking for.
My only complaint id the inconvenient way the accessibility vehicles are kept. To get to them entering through the exit is required, however these doors do not open unless someone does so from the inside. Once this hurdle is accomplished, one must get a key for the vehicle which is kept at customer service, which is again behind a second door that only opens from the inside (thankfully a kind customer went and got the key for me).
Thankfully the staff was very helpful and watched at the exit to let me back in with the vehicle and retrieve the key.

Honestly I'm done with metro and going to food basics. One week their prices are low next week 20 to 30 dollars for a pack of 4 pork chops. I can't do it prices are messed up and alot of people can't pay those price and I'm one of them.

What is the problem with the backed goods. If I wanted stale cookies I would by the one’s in the isle. Fresh backed cookies should not taste so stale

Watch out for the covid positive employee working at the self checkouts openly hacking away. YIKES. The new variant is a lot more contagious than the first strain everyone was so worried about and it still causes just as much damage to your body.
Also, vegetables are okay, regularly see 2-3 week old lettuce and I'm sure the other produce is just as old, some of it rotting and mouldy and the rest just on the verge of it. Prices are as bad as Roblaws and the quality is the same. Bought something last week that expired 7 months ago somehow... How does something go 7 months without being checked? I even contacted support about it and still haven't heard anything. Find a local grocer who cares!
