I usually don't even write reviews, but wow the women who work here are dripping in attitude and act with such disrespect. Regardless of your approach (speaking from THREE experiences within ONE month with the same location and people) they act as if you are a homeless person/thief, (showing consistent rude facial expressions, rolling eyes, and puckering their botox filled lips while they share looks with each other). I don't know what their deal is, but it is so unwelcoming. You should stop treating paying customers like they are inconveniencing you, or as if you can't be bothered to help them nicely (especially when they are being nice to you) because your store is always empty. I seriously regret my purchase because every time that i need something i now have to face the squad of mean girls acting like this is high school and not Rideau mall.

I want to express my extreme disappointment towards Michael hill jewellery shop at Rideau center.
I bought a necklace which I liked from the store which was full of scratches.
They promised me to get it fixed.
I gifted my partner but we wanted it return it.
God knows what kind of fixing they have done.
When I went to return it, as it says within 30 days.
They refused to accept it as the scratches were again visible when it was sold without wearing it.
I bought a lot from them in the last year and unfortunately you lost your precious customer.
Extremely disappointed by the store and unhelpful manager.

Last weekend we went to pick up the rings we sent to resize, when we asked signing up the warranty paper. The one told us it's expired and not sign it, another sales towards my wife and told her if we signed this we will get fired. And questioned my wife does she read the paper and she SHOULD know the policy as a long time customer.
What an awful experience with this store and definitely Michael Hill is losing our business.

I truly love my engagement ring and would still choose it despite a series of issues we faced . However, I recommend being cautious when working with Andrea at this location. If youâre considering a purchase at Michael Hill Rideau, be sure to ask for Kaylaâsheâs outstanding!

I had an extremely frustrating experience at Rideau when trying to return a chain I purchased from Bayshore, less than a week ago. I went to return the item, Saba, the associate, barely glanced at the item and immediately said it was non-refundable because I had worn it once. After calling Bayshore, they told me to pass by and I could just return it there because of the ridiculousness but going there would have been a huge hassle, as I donât drive. The initial refusal by Saba to assist or even inspect the item made the process unnecessarily difficult, long, and frustrating. Her lack of effort and dismissive attitude made the situation much worse than it needed to be, that is basic customer service skills 101. Thankfully her associate, Amina who I ran into next to the store while I was still on the call dealt with me after explaining my situation, had some common sense, the chain was refunded in no time

A big thank you to Kayla for helping me pick out the perfect engagement ring. I went to the store in October to browse around, and she took her time in considering my budget, needs and explaining the details of each ring I was interested in. Most importantly, she did not pressure me into making a forced purchase, but rather she provided me her contact information if I had any questions and laid out the purchase process if I ever came back. I returned in December and was lucky enough to find what I wanted with an additional discount.Kayla was extremely transparent, knowledgeable and honest in explaining the financing process, along with the warranty plans the store offers. I even learned a few new things about lab grown versus natural diamonds which was a huge factor for my budgetary concerns. Thank you for making my purchase extremely easy and satisfying!

It was my birthday when I visited this store and they were so helpful in finding what I was looking for. They cleaned all my jewelry and made it all look like new. I was very pleased with their customer service and it was a pleasure dealing with them.

I went August 20th & wish I got the names of the employees I was with because they were so so helpful and sweet. Couldnât have had a better experience and it was my first time shopping here! Replaced a chain I had lost and the 2 women working helped me find exactly what I want :)
