Terrible service. Had 8am appointment. Dropped car off night before to make sure it would be there. Told them over and over I needed it back early as I had an important appointment at end of day. It has taken all day (now almost 5pm) and still not ready. Since there are no other choices for BMW service in Ottawa, I will be buying something else in 2025.

Horrible experience with the service team. Extremely slow, and very unorganized. Scheduled an oil change and air filter replacement 2 weeks in advance just to be told that they don’t have the filter and it needs to be ordered from BC. Dropped off the car at 8 AM and was asked to keep the car overnight, for a simple oil change. Large amount of unprofessionalism here and will definitely never bring my car at this location again.

Useless service department. I am the owner of an E91 which is affected by the Vanos recall, today marked the second time that it has been booked in to complete the recall only to be told there is no parts available.
The first instance occurred in May when I had booked an appointment and they called the day prior to let me know that they did not have parts available. Understandable that they may not have parts and they had informed me.
Last week I called them to book an appointment and confirm that they had parts in stock, they booked it in for service and confirmed that they had parts, when I arrived this morning for my appointment they had booked it in for the wrong recall which is not affecting my model and then said they do not have the parts for the correct recall. The CRM Officer Trevor Button told me that they are not booking in for that service until January when they expect parts because they are booked for tire changes.
I then left the dealership and called BMW Canada who confirmed that they have 2k bolts and gaskets in stock for the recall. Which I was told was not possible to get by Otto’s BMW so I now have conflicting information where BMW Canada says they have everything needed to do the recall and the dealership not doing it because they claim they don’t have parts.

I walked in to the Otto’s BMW dealership about a month ago as my siblings and I intended to surprise our mom with a car. Fortunately, I came across Mey, the best salesperson ever. She took all the time to show me around, answer my questions, offer the best deal, and support along the process. Before the purchase, she sat me inside the car and explained everything in detail. She even made sure all was ready for the delivery of the surprise. After the purchase, Mey regularly checks in to make sure all is going well and sends explanatory videos to address my questions. All in all, my experience was remarkably positive and I’m happy I made the right choice. I would definitely recommend. Many thanks to Mey, Dusko, Bailey, Moe, Massoud, and everyone who took part in making this happen.

A dealer who doesn’t want to sell.
Extremely disappointed! I went to Otto’s BMW willing to buy a new X1 and to trade my old Mercedes, met with a sale representative who just came back from vacation, we discussed several options: he was all over the place: I will get the keys to test drive, few min later he doesn’t know where the car nor the keys are. I left my email and phone number so that he was supposed to send me all the information. Believe it or not: it has been over 2 weeks and he never called nor sent anything. I called him twice and left my contact info for him to call be back and he never did. Very disrespectful, unprofessional and insulting. Sales representative who doesn’t sell!

Flaking paint on the hood of my 2020 X54.0 M packs bought in November 2023. I even bought an extended warranty. Otto’s BMW Ottawa don’t want to assume the responsibility of the paint defect. I should have bought a Lada.

I recently picked up my 330i from Otto's BMW with the help of Nour and Mulu and it was a great experience. Nour and Mulu were extremely helpful throughout the entire process and answered any and all questions I had. I cannot recommend Nour enough for anyone looking for a BMW!

Avoid the service advisor Jenna if you're getting your vehicle serviced. My experience with her was extremely disappointing—she was rude, condescending, and dismissive of my concerns. I dropped off my vehicle early in the morning for routine maintenance that should have taken just a couple of hours. At 9 AM, Jenna informed me that my car was in the shop being worked on, but after that, I received no further updates.
I called at 1 PM to check on the status, left a voicemail, and received no response. It wasn’t until 5:30 PM—just 30 minutes before the service department closed—that Jenna finally contacted me to let me know my car was ready. Because of her delay, I had to rush to the dealership to make it in time before they closed. This was a frustrating and unprofessional experience, especially when compared to my generally positive interactions with other service advisors at Otto's. If I could give Jenna a zero-star rating, I would.
Another thing I noticed that was pointed out by another reviewer is Otto's service department needs to look at how they are currently handling people who are coming in to pick up their car. Multiple times now, I have been in a situation where there was no one at reception to greet me and just left standing there while all the service advisors are on their computers/phones doing their best to not acknowledge or even attempt to ask how they can help. I should not have to be hounding people just to be able to pick up my own car after service!
