Really appreciate the friendly service and staff. Patrons were a bit pushy but that comes with bad dog owners. Dog Wash is clean and well kept. Only critique would be use more absorbent towels.

I have to say the service here has gone down quite a bit since Cass and Josh left. The female manager is wonderful but many of the staff need a lesson in customer service. It doesn’t have the same vibe anymore and although this location is closest to me, I’ll likely go to westgate from now on.

I’m writing this review for the complaint of one of the staff member at pet valu(1224 Wellington street,ottawa)
I am an instacart shopper and I got an order on sunday ( September 1,2024) around 1 PM.
Furthermore, I went to the pet valu store and was looking for some items and asked one of the associate of the staff politely for help and they were trying to help me and they asked their manager who was at the cash counter at the moment.
Moreover, Their MANAGER(a lady) asked me that I’m supposed to find the items by myself and that’s what I’m getting paid for (the tips) and she told me that 4-5 times.Also, we are not here to do your job to shop for you. Even she was asking her staff to not to help as we are getting tips.
She was very rude and being racist (not directly but intentionally).

I would like to say thank you to one of the managers (blond lady, i can't remember the name, my apologies). She gave us outstanding advice for my cat, who I was certain of losing. Here we are 1 month later, and my cat is doing better than ever.

We brought our big dog to have a quick wash before heading home. Luckily it was first come, first serve, so we could wash immediately. We used one of the two sinks, but it was clogged the whole time, and some things flowed back out. Maybe when we went there it was busy, because the washing area and floor was dirty. We did like how there were enough towels to wipe the dog after.

Having a dog wash station is terrific!
It is super convenient for me to take my dog here.
It's always clean and everything works perfectly (water pressure and temperature, the height of the bathtub, the maneuverability of the hose... ).
They provide you with 2 towels, shampoo (various kinds to choose from) and treats. And, if you go there often, you get one wash for free every now and then!
Love to have this place close to my home!

I've never been to this location before. I was pleasantly surprised with how big the store was and how much stock they had. The store is overall super clean and organized. I was served by Emily and she was really helpful and friendly.
