Overall this place isn't bad. But there is one staff member who is either an actual moron or she just hates me. I go there pretty often to go get change and normally all I need to do is just give my name, but this one old hag tries to make me give her all my personal information and it's incredibly uncomfortable. I don't know her name but she works at the far right teller where you can sit down and she was working the morning of this post. I've pointed out to her that nobody else has ever asked me for all this extra information but she refuses to change. The only 2 explanations I can think of are either she hates me personally for some reason or the rest of the staff hate her and are gatekeeping the information from her. I've been coming to this bank for over a year and she is the only person I have this problem with, pls educate her

They won't let paying clients use the bank machines after 6pm when you most need the bank machine service. Then, if you use another institution's bank machine, Royal Bank charges you. Corrupt Clowns. ?

Worst customer service ever. Lack of communication skills. I had an appointment and they made me wait for 40mins with no proper service. The bank was empty and there was 4 customer representatives just looking at me for those 40 minutes straight. In conclusion, didn’t meet the representative I had an appointment with and none of the rest gave me an answer nor assistance. Terrible..

Deeply disappointed. My account has been restricted because I tried to access my account but I've forgotten my password. It wouldn't let me reset password and i was asked to go to a local branch on a SUNDAY, where no branch available. So, I'm stuck stranded in the middle of nowhere, no access to my funds, cannot make any purchases. I had to wait HOURS until my friend came and gave me cash to fill up my gas to go home. Then, I went to the branch the next day to get my account fixed, ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH CREDENTIALS because I only have my driver license and they won't take OHIP card. And now, here I am stuck again for another day with no access to my funds and no money to get food or gas!!!! AND ALL THESE TROUBLE JUST BECAUSE I NEED TO RESET MY PASSWORD. Honestly, this is ridiculous. I have never felt so isolated and betrayed by a bank that I solely trust to take care of my funds FOR MY USE. This is unacceptable and I hope you find a better system than these outdated and super inconvenience and zero empathic to clients. Very disappointed.
