This branch manager stated that they don't assist other Scotiabank branch customers. This branch has its own policy. I had an issue with my account, then I spoke to a couple of customer service representatives online, and they directed me to the nearest branch to resolve the problem. When I visited this branch, they stated that they wouldn't assist customers from other branches, as this branch has its own policies and is considered aloof. Altogether, scotiabank customer service was a run-around ( spoke to many agents who didn't know how to resolve issues; instead, they confused you ), and they didn't take accountability seriously. Still, the problem remains unresolved, and nobody seems to care.

I’ve talked to many financial advisors and and most of them give bad advice and sound like they don’t know what they are talking about. I could probably ask my uncle for advice and get similar or better results. Turnover rate for financial advisors is very high. You never talk with the same person. They don't seem like they want to put your best interest first. I’m tired of hearing the same bad advice over and over again from different people.

Went to this branch yesterday, had a very bad experience with the FA, her last name is Liang ( Chinese lady), she is unprofessional and incompetent, very disappointed.

Cannot call branch directly. Always transfers to call center with more than a 45 minute wait. Unacceptable!!!

The bank branch manger is very angry with here self and she admits that here mangers broke policy for 8 months and they been wrong all that time and any thing you say to here she will response with not here fault another employee missed up , tells you a lot about the training that they provide

Never enough staff, always a huge line up. But once you get to the teller, if you can manage the wait time, they are very friendly and polite but slow.

There are four ATMs, but three of them only have $20 bills, including one that was refusing deposits. Another machine (#2) only has $5 bills. It's ridiculous, and access to the ticket counters is only available from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Not pleasant!

Go here if you want to be treated like a criminal when trying to access your own account. Do not recommend this branch I'd rather drive 2 hours away then deal with the people that work here.

So glad I switched to RBC, I despise the way I've been made to feel by this bank. I've never had a good experience at this branch, everytime I need help I'm treated less than. Most recently I was told by 3 different people it wasn't their problem that they unfairly locked up my money, forcing me to spend the last bit of money I had left to get there, and then when I finally get it sorted, I realize I was retaliated against by the manager here by closing my checking account because I got angry that I would have to walk all the way from here to Herongate to get helped. DO NOT GET SIGNED UP HERE! That last interaction was the final straw after almost a decade of abuse. RBC has been so fantastic and helpful. Screw this place and the people in it! I would give negative stars if I could, and hey! Not my problem!

One of the worst branches in Ottawa. Very unprofessional staff. ATMs don’t accept cash deposits and tellers can’t even print a proper bank draft. One of the tellers began asking me personal questions about getting a job after noticing my workplace in the system.
