They do not know what is customer service and i went to the bank today there was an indian lady working there she did not make an effort to help me out though i knew she could. It was very disappointing experience to visit there. No customer service

This older dude at the front desk literally treated me like I was wasting his time just asking for help with a deposit ?
Went somewhere else and got the problem solved immediately.

Cold and stand-offish tellers. Went in with my Tangerine debit card and Scotiabank credit card hoping to take out US dollars for a trip. Instead of doing the simple transaction themselves, they pointed me towards the ATM, that has no option to take out US money. When I went back to the counter he seemed to have made up an arbitrary limit of 500$ because i'm not a 'Scotiabank customer' despite having a Scotia credit card...Just extremely unhelpful. It is truly baffling how every Scotiabank interaction I've had since the last 15 years has been awful.

My favourite Scotiabank in Ottawa! I have always had really good service here! The bankers are very helpful and friendly. This isn't the closet location to me but I still choose to go here because of the great service.

They have these bank employees and a branch manager. 100% of the time I go in with a simple problem. Allow the low level employees a chance to help (they are rude, confrontational quiet / struggle speaking and talk in circles) I go see the branch manager: immediately get my simple problem fixed. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Wipe out all of your low level employees and replace them robots that won’t be rude and confrontational. Invest in FINTECH.

I’m not sure where else to leave this review but I went to this location this week (through the Queen St. entrance) and I had an amazing experience with an agent named Lisha. She was so helpful and had an amazing attitude. Scotiabank generally really irritates me but this interaction made me excited to do more banking. Thank you Lisha!! I hope she sees this review.
