I've bought my running shoes at the Sports4 on Bank St for decades, so I followed them to the Glebe location. Glad to see the same, tremendously helpful, staff.

My daughter and I both bought new running shoes from Nathan. Today was their trial run (literally). We both shaved almost 1 minute off our best time. Coincidence? We think not! ?Thank you for taking the time to help us find the right shoes. We will definitely be return customers!

I am incredibly grateful for the salespeople in this shop - with a special shout-out to Nathan, who paid special attention to my foot care needs and was able to find the right shoes to address my goals. I have experienced a lot of frustration and disappointment with my previous experiences of shopping for shoes - especially orthopaedic or running shoes - given my condition. Nathan was patient, fun, playful, attentive, informative, and had my best interest in mind. I will never go to anyone else but him for my shoe care needs from now on! Thank you, Nathan!

Love my new HOKAS!!! Nathan was truly amazing, super knowledgeable about running shoes (I tried on about six different manufacturers) and overall very nice guy. Left calf tightness is now gone and I’m back to running pain free. Very enjoyable running shoe shopping experience, 5 out of 5 stars!

Sports 4 has always been my go to store for knowledgeable staff and great service. Was there this morning and they did not disappoint. Nathan was able to find the right shoe for my particular needs. If you haven’t checked out the new store in the Glebe, I highly recommend them. Added bonus, the parking is not an issue! All the best in your new location!

Always excellent selection and service here! Their sidewalk sales offer great prices on older stock. I've referred several people to both this store and the College Square location, and will return again. UPDATE: Needed to lower my review, after buying several pairs of Asics & Brooks. I saw a pair of Asics Nimbus 23 on sale elsewhere, and since I wanted to support a small business, asked if they would match the price. KZ was rude in her email reply, implying I was wrong to ask because they were a different color, not the shark/aqua they are still selling at full price (they're now 3 yrs old). The ones sold elsewhere were a different color, both navy blue, light blue, and ones called pink salt, all later editions than these. Even so, I wanted to support a small business, and would have traveled to pick them up. She refused to match the price, so I went elsewhere for both the light blue/coral and dark blue, and my friend bought pink salt and black after I raved how comfortable they were. Then we found the shark/aqua Nimbus 23 online at a Canadian store on clearance for $25! Unfortunately they didn't have my size, but my friend ordered those too. It's unfortunate that this employee thought so little of a customer who previously purchased at least 15 pairs of runners here. It's actions like this that caused a drop in business, because we've been shopping elsewhere ever since. I purposely waited to update my review, not wanting to update it in anger. Since this occurred, I have bought my shoes elsewhere, as have a few friends. The rudeness of this employee has cost them several sales.

Ethan is over here absolutely killin it. I had lost all hope of finding a pair of discontinued shoes until I found them on their website. I was having trouble placing the order online so called the store and got the order all figured out over the phone. Thank you so much.

I came here years ago by recommendation for wide-fitting athletic shoes and it's been my favourite shoe store in Ottawa for over almost a decade for buying cross training, weightlifting, running, and walking shoes. Staffed by knowledgeable athletes. I recently bought a pair of winter boots (insulated hiking boots ) and they even have wide-fitting footwear for this.
