Stubbe Chocolates is the oldest family-owned business in the Ottawa Valley and a prime destination in the heart of Ottawa. It is by far the best chocolate in the city, with unsurpassed depth and richness. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by wonderful, very welcoming and friendly staff and the addictive, captivating smell of cocoa and milk chocolate. The shop offers lots of variety, including an assortment of truffles, chocolate candied orange peels, and ruby bars. The truffles are a big hit and are inexpensive if bought individually. There are non-alcoholic and alcohol-free options, as well as sugar-free chocolate and cakes for those with dietary restrictions. Their cakes are unbelievable and amazing, including a baked chocolate cake that is highly recommended. It is a favorite chocolate store, so worth the price, and people love receiving their products as gifts.
Picked up a cake last weekend for a birthday. I was in awe when I opened the box. Beautiful decorations and hand-writing. I wasn't expecting that level of detail.

Very friendly & welcoming. Owner on sight gave detailed explanations about a variety of delicious products. Wide selection of superbly crafted confectioneries. Delicious as well as beautiful to the eye.
