It is a nice place to relax at the sun easily accessible via the bike path. No, it's not Venus Beach, but for your kids, it's a beautiful playground to build sand castels. For swimming, you almost need to bring your wetsuit because the Ottawa River is cold.

smaller-ish beach but nice, with more shade than Britannia, and a nice restaurant serving beers and pretty decent food with nice view over the beach and river. on a scorching day this is a preferred hangout. free parking also. no public showers, and likely packed on weekends.
