I ordered an item online and am suffering now because zara is incapable of providing a free refund that was promised when I was checking out. They keep sending me a return label for a carrier that doesn’t exist in my city and my multiple messages to their so-called customer service team don’t give any results. Better shop elsewhere if you want honest business.

I was in here today at 11:31 am. Cashier made me feel like a criminal for accidentally giving my credit card instead of my debit to make a return. She stated that the numbers didn't match, which they obviously didn't. Then I politely provided my debit card which was the card I had actually used. Then she said that didn't match, which was impossible. Then we went back and forth a number of times. She was acting like I was trying to make a fraudulent return. Insisting that neither card matched. Eventually she started whispering into her mic with a "gotcha smirk".The manager, quickly noticed that my debit card matched. and gave her a talking to. I appreciate how the manager handled the situation. She was very nice and polite.I would just like to complain about the employee who seems to assume that black people are criminals. Get rid of her!

A good clothing store with many options. They do change their clothing options frequently so if you are thinking of buying something, I would get it at the time rather than waiting for the next time. It may be gone before you come back.There are not many cash registers open at the same time, so there is a wait at times depending on how busy the store is. There are dressing rooms available. The men’s dressing rooms usually do not have a line, but I have noticed that the female dressing rooms in the bottom of the store are usually quite busy and require a wait time.They also have articles of clothing that are on sale and they change the three company so if you’re looking for a deal, it would be worth checking out.

Usually I love Zara stores, but this instance (at Rideau Centre) was not a great experience. Went to return some items , and the wait line at the cash was insane, with only one cashier open. Took forever and was exhausting.

Staff are very rude to customers and we were waiting in line for half an hour and when we complain an asian girl left the cashier and hide somewhere..that was happened on june 29 at 6:45 pm at Bayshore

Very upset.I am willing to spend extra money on clothing that is good quality. That is what I expected when I spent 60$ on a shirt.But instead, it had a hole in it after being hand washed one time! That is ridiculous. If it’s a poor quality shirt, it should not be priced like a high quality shirt.

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE PRICE TAGS...Some things are priced in EUROS.. bought a shirt that said 29.95 on it. When I went to check out, they said it was 60 something $.. I didn't realize it was in euros.. I bought it anyways, because it was a nice shirt that would be good for work, but still annoying to have some items marked in euros.

Decent selection but the customer service is non existent. Never anybody to help except at the register(barely) and this is the third time I’ve been here where the staff is gathered in the fitting room station talking badly about coworkers etc and pretending like the customers aren’t there. They aren’t accessible to help and also just unprofessional. Also cashing our time is longer time than any other retail store I’ve been to even if you have two items. No sense of urgency.

i tried returning a perfume i had just bought less than 5 minutes after the purchase last night at around 5pm. the same girl who had cashed me out, said i could not return my defected perfume and how i “should’ve asked to see the tester”, while all the other ones were normal? how am i supposed to know there is a problem with my never used perfume if i do not open the packaging? i approached her politely and got nothing but the opposite back. not to mention, it is also difficult to find nice clothing there and usually, it is low quality. not to mention, i still had my bag, receipts and packaging.

I have lived in Ottawa for a year and anytime I have gone to Zara, it has been hands down the WORST customer service I have EVER EXPERIENCED EVER. Staff are rude, don’t care to help, and slower than a sail. I waited in line for 36 mins to check out with one pair of pants. DO BETTER

Mean cahier ladyWent to return an online order, which I didn’t knew was passed the return period, which was my fault. But the cashier (lady with bangs) just stared at me after telling me the system doesn’t allow the return and gave me a fake smile (literally stared at me with her fake smile)Felt very uncomfortable. Haven’t been back to this Zara, but I feel like the employees have changed a lot and reading other reviews it seems like I’m not the only one that felt this way

I just went in to return a dress that I got for my engagement photos. When I bought it the one I brought to the cash didn’t have a tag so the worker went and got another one. She put the wrong size in the bag. I went it to return it, tags on in the bag and with the receipt. As soon as I pull it out the cashier immediately says to her coworker not even to me “this girl cut this” I said pardon me and she goes you cut this dress I’ve seen this before and this isn’t how it comes. I did not and would not cut something and then try to return it. I explained the issue to her and that I was returning it due to the wrong size. She was adamant that I cut the dress and said to her coworker she’s calling the manager. Again not to me. The managers come over and she goes this girl cut the dress the male manager and someone else who came over just stood there didn’t say a word to me but just let the employee falsely accuse me of damaging their product. She held the dress up and said here you cut this we aren’t refunding you so I took it out of her hands and left. I have filed a complaint against this employee and store. The cashier is extremely disrespectful and horrible customer service. I’m positive she wouldn’t be too pleased with someone falsely accusing her of something. The photos of the dress online are not even as the dress is a slip dress with a piece of tool. People who do not have manners should not be working in customer service. Disgusting behaviour from Zara Rideau employees.
