“I am 66 years and I remember going into Gardels in Owen Sound when I was a young boy. This has been a staple business in Owen Sound for many decades. You don't last like this by being second rate. I now frequent the store more often and am very happy with every aspect of buying my fish here. Hats off to the staff and owners for a job well done.”

“Great little store, I go regularly for one of my dog’s favourite treats, Oven-baked chicken and pumpkin. I used to order it online but this store has the best price around. Always pick up a few other things while there. Downside is that it is small so limited inventory and they don’t carry the dog food brands I buy. The service is also top notch, super friendly and helpful but never annoying. I drive a little further, as I live on the west side of the peninsula, to go there. Would buy more if they carried it.”
