Scotiabank provides good service when customers can connect with staff. The process to open an account can be easy, enjoyable, and fast. Employees are helpful and good at fixing things, sometimes offering excellent personal intervention to solve problems. However, the bank has challenges with long line-ups, shorter hours, and a lack of employees. Reaching the branch by phone is difficult and financial advisors change frequently.

    Financial advisor and mutual fund representative John Klassen is an awesome guy. Very knowledgeable and professional person. The bank should give him a raise for his excellent work.

    EXCELLENT. Opened up a new bank account and the process was easy, enjoyable and to my amazement quite fast on a busy Friday afternoon. Am now going to be a regular customer with Scotiabank. Spoke to someone from the tele Scotia banking and my wait time was not very long all. VERY PLEASED.

    Try to phone the branch, good luck with that. Who is your financial advisor, well they change faster than the weather. However if you can get ahold of someone you know they are good at fixing things.
