I've provided this bank a two star review. This bank used to have 5 working ATMs, three at the rear and two at the front. They now have two at the front and two at the back. The two at the back no longer allow withdrawals.It would be nice if they were fixed as this is the only place in town that allows withdrawals without a fee for scotia customers.I also didn't realize we were allowed to sleep next to the ATMs and use the vestibules as our personal restrooms. If I had known that I could save $1600 a month on rent.Also my AMEX card is the cheapest made card in existence, may as well be made out of cardboard.

EXCELLENT. Opened up a new bank account and the process was easy, enjoyable and to my amazement quite fast on a busy Friday afternoon. Am now going to be a regular customer with Scotiabank. Spoke to someone from the tele Scotia banking and my wait time was not very long all. VERY PLEASED.

Tried calling branch but my personal banker retired and cant leave a message- then phone went to someone in Toronto - booked phone apt with branch - they never called - Next day I tried to reach branch, again got a person in Toronto - basically after an hour while they spoke to someone at branch with me on hold, gave me another extension but said I should just go into the branch because branch won't likley answer. They are very busy. My first migraine in 10 years thanks to Scotiabank.

Got here at the time listed on their door as the time they open as we needed to get stuff done right away. Nobody is here no one is in the building and there is 0 info as to why no one is in the building at the designated opening time. I am currently trying to close all my accounts with this company for issues like this that happen daily! They don't follow the Ontario Disability Act and in general are malicious toward their customers. Do not make an account with these guys do not even try to talk to these people as its redundant and a waste of time.

Terrible service by scotia associate terri like if you can not make the experience best at least do not make it worse . Just asked for simple thing to do and she straightly denied me service . Please be polite. She ruined my entire day .

Scotiabank staff need to learn to be a little more kindly. Maybe not all are like that. But today for me not good experience.For example ,*The paper placed in front of the customer should not be pulled out. *When staff speaking, instead of saying "I know my job very well", wait for the customer to finish speaking.*When the customer is saying something to the staff, instead of looking at the computer, they should look at the customer.I hope I'm not asking too much from Scotiabank.

Did you know the incredibly long line-ups AND shorter opening hours are due to a lack of employees? TRUE. And yet, while standing in one such queue today, Wendy Nelson -- NOT on the teller line -- asked EVERYONE if she could take them to a bank machine and guide them through a transaction. When I made a glib remark that "You can't do a bank draft at the ATM," Wendy took my wife and I to her office, accessed our account, and five minutes later we left with both the draft AND gratitude for such intervention. So if you are asked to try something new at Scotiabank, give it a whirl. Wendy Nelson deserves recognition for a job well done. And Scotiabank head office needs to sharpen their recruitment pencils!

Try to phone the branch, good luck with that. Who is your financial advisor, well they change faster than the weather. However if you can get ahold of someone you know they are good at fixing things.

I will be a long standing customer of Scotia Bank because of the service Jamie provides. Highly recommended!

We have called twice about an amount being taken out of our account in duplication. Both times we waited over 2 hours for service. WHEN did we give up our right to service.
