I’ve been to Grand River Nails four times now, always right when they open. Each time, I’m told they’re too busy — even when the salon is nearly empty. Most recently, I asked to make an appointment for waxing, and the woman looked me up and down before telling me they “didn’t have enough wax.”
I’m not a big person, and regardless of size, that comment felt extremely judgmental and unprofessional. The way I was spoken to made me feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, and unwelcome.
It’s disappointing to be treated this way as a loyal and polite customer. I won’t be returning, and I would caution others about the lack of courtesy and respect I experienced here.

Emily was meticulous with my manicure, and was gentle with the grinder when removing the old shellac. I will definitely go back again.

I had such a nice experience at this nail salon. They fit me in short notice. It was clean and quiet, which was nice to relax while getting my nails done. The nail tech also did such a good job with my nails, I love them. They also have a large variety of polishes which was nice. I will definitely be coming back for all my nail needs.

My husband and I were both in today for a pedicure and I had shellac on my nails. We were in and out in an hour and they did a terrific job. We both enjoyed soaking in the food spa and having our legs and feet massaged. The girls are always friendly when we come in. I have tried other places but this is the most pleasant and affordable place to go.

This is one of the best nail places I have been too. I’ve been to many as I’ve been getting my nails done for 10+ years. I recently had to change nail services due to my previous nail tech moved away. I was recommended to go to Grand River Nails.
The nail tech exceeded my expectations of what I wanted. Very thorough, gentle & took her time making sure every nail shape and length was the same. I requested the UV gel and polish. Staff is friendly and not pushy or rushing you out the door.
The prices for their services are fair compared to others. I will be coming back as a regular customer.

I hate to leave a bad review on a small business in Paris … but I had the worst experience at Grand River Nails on Wednesday. They sighed at every request I made and rushed me out of the salon in 15 minutes. I wouldn’t mind if my pedicure was done in 15 minutes .. if it was done right. My cuticles were painted over and my nails weren’t even filed, just cut. By Friday afternoon the shellac polish started peeling, as it was over my cuticles. I went to a different salon on Saturday and they laughed at the work done by Grand River Nails. I have had many pedicures over the years, and nothing has been as bad as my experience here. I would not recommend them.

Went in for a mani-pedi on a Monday morning took almost 2h, for bio-gel (just on the fingers) and when I tell you this lady was meticulous, the finish on my nails are amazing, and the cateyes look great. I don't think I need to look around for another place. Honestly second only to my friend who did mine for free.
