1100 Pembroke St E, PembrokeI went there to wash my dog, whos very afraid of public places and especially water, staff were all very nice and helpful. I let my dog pick out a treat after and unfortunately because he smelt other dogs he decided to pee, we offered to clean it but the cashier did it for us. Unfortunately, a man who apparently is known for rudeness came in and said some very hurtful and explicit things to me. After the encounter the cashier came over and apologized on his behalf and was very nice and understanding (apparently he's a very rude regular who tends to specifically harrass young females) anyway, the cashier and all the other staff are super nice I highly recommend, but, if this regular is harrassing the other customers and staff then it would be best to not serve him anymore as he is harming the reputation of the store. I love the place but knowing he could be there makes me uncomfortable to go.

Their summer haircuts turned out absolutely adorable, and you can tell she truly cares about the dogs and takes the time to make them feel comfortable. The Ontario SPCA - Renfrew County Animal Centre
115 Woodcrest Dr, PembrokeI had found a kitten who was in desperate need of care. The Renfrew OSPCA was fantastic with being quick to take the kitten in and give him the immediate care he needed. My husband and I were very interested in giving this kitten a home so when he was cleared for adoption, they were speedy with letting me know he was ready to be adopted! They were also awesome with responding to all of my phone calls when I wanted updates on his health. Boo (now Bowie) is settling into his new home nicely.
