Sells sick malnourished small animals, saw a staff member lose a lizard and very sad sick beta fish. Also the managers great Dane growled at me when I walked in. DO NOT SHOP HERE

Very poor customer service
Bought fish which I believe had ick when purchased because within two days my.tank was cleared out by the fish I purchased from Ricks. When I called they said only a 24 hour warranty on fish which is a very short period of time in my opinion

Bought an aquarium figurine in Renfrew. Turned out to be the wrong one. Messaged on facebook to see if I could return it to Petawawa. Had the receipt. At no point did Ricks mention that it is exchange only. Drove all the way in today to find out I can’t have a refund. I understand that there was a sign up in the store but would it have been so hard to remind me when I asked about a return? I didn’t ask about an exchange but this would have been good to know.If I could give zero stars I would. I don’t recommend using this shop.

Bought ember tetra and they have ich. Thankfully I put them in quarantine before adding to my main tank but now I have to spend more money to treat them
