Penetang Home Hardware is a quaint shop with a small town feel. It offers a wide selection, including housewares, tools, plumbing and electrical supplies, paint, sporting goods, automotive, farm supplies, giftware, and seasonal items. Customers are usually surprised and satisfied with the selection and availability, often finding what they need and enjoying the discounted section for random finds. The staff are consistently noted as knowledgeable, courteous, eager to help, friendly, and down to earth in every department, with many highlighting that they don't run when they see customers. While the store can be a little crowded, making finding some things a challenge, most things are priced comparably to other stores. It is regularly recommended as a genuine 100% Canadian, dealer-owned retailer where customers have great shopping experiences.
