I do not normally leave reviews, but really felt like I must for this. I woke to a horrible phone call that my dance studio flooded, I called my insurance company immediately! Within 1 hour, Bryan from Winmar was at my studio, within 1.5 hours he had a clean up crew at my studio sucking water up and had dryers everywhere to help clean up the mess! Every day, there has been someone monitoring the drying (there was lots of water! Hot water tank blew in the night) and I have constant communication with both Bryan and Loraine. Bryan is amazing, and was able to work with me to keep my business open!!! Without ANY hesitation I strongly recommend Winmar Penetang! So far they have more than surpassed by expectations!

Zero words to explain how terrible this company is. Starting with the expectations for them to show up whenever they want. The terrible terrible terrible communication or just the no shows they do. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Dealing with this company has been a total nightmare spanning over a year. They quoted me an absurdly high amount for a basic repair job then told me I had to pay a 50% deposit to get on the schedule for the work to me done. Lacking options, I paid the deposit and heard nothing from Winmar for half a year despite constant calls asking for the barest scrap of information. Finally they handed the work off to a subcontractor who sent people out a handful of times to take damaged material off my house but replace it with nothing and leave the interior of the wall exposed to the elements over the winter. They also took my tarp that I used to cover their shoddy work.After months of promises that they would be back and no-show after no-show I wanted my money back but Winmar told me another estimator would have to do a valuation on the work completed. That process took another 6 weeks and resulted in another absurdly high valuation. After I pushed back on it, they admitted the estimate was more than double what it should have been before cutting me a cheque for the difference.I must have called them over 50 times over the year and a bit I was dealing with them and was only every called back maybe 5 times. The project manager literally never returned a single email.STAY AWAY!

Hasty, unprofessional, pressured client and then didn’t follow up with work, avoided calls. Peter,the owner, specifically demonstrated shady business practices,and was blatantly arrogant and disrespectful.Please save yourself further frustration when faced with restoration needs or household disaster. Go elsewhere.Updated is response to the business reply:Correct, I was not your customer. My support was sought out my a family member who has elicited your services, they felt dismissed, bullied and belittled. When I attempted to assist, I was met with the same behaviour.Although I appreciate you seeking to rectify the issue rather than deflecting responsibility, I will not be removing the review.

We were so pleased with every member of the team.We had Chris working with all the trades from the onset and the whole Winmar team were the best. They arrived when they said they would or called to update us of any changes. Always pleasant and great work ethics. They always cleaned up at the end of their workday.Every detail was done to perfection. The restoration is better than ever.Thank you to everyone that was involved with our claim.Would highly recommend.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICEAaron Lavin was our Winmar rep. From the first phone call we knew we were in good hands. Aaron was professional, knowledgeable & worked in a timely fashion. He was readily available by phone, by text and by appointment at all hours. He made us feel that we mattered. We would rate Aaron & Winmar A+++.

Water damage is a devastating experience but WINMAR listened to my concerns and addressed matters respectfully. I was greatly impressed by the in-house order of their receiving articles, restoring and packaging. The ladies did a top notch job in the cleaning & boxing of my household goods; many thanks to you all! Joanne

Terrible customer service. Never return phone calls. Had an issue and was told I'd be contacted in a few days in regards to my concern. That was a week ago. left another msg and still no return call. Wouldn't recommend
