About Dollarama
Dollarama is a large store offering a wide selection of items compared to other locations. However, there is often a long line at the only cashier, which can be time-consuming. The store staff includes an older female employee with short grey hair who is not very responsive; she rarely acknowledges customers or says anything beyond the necessary, making interactions feel impersonal. In contrast, the grey-haired cashier at another time was praised for being polite, efficient, and professional, creating a smooth and welcoming checkout experience through her calm and friendly manner. The staff overall demonstrated excellent customer service, especially when helping with a clothing emergency. They went out of their way to search through boxes and stock for about 10-15 minutes, ensuring the customer left with exactly what was needed. Despite some staffing and service inconsistencies, the store's large size and helpful employees make it a notable shopping destination.

Great store except that older female employee with the short grey hair. Never responds to thank you. Never says a thing so if she’s working I just pay and leave without a peep even though that isn’t my usual happy outwardness. You can’t retrain that!.
