They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I bought a Cx 701 metal lathe and the tailstock broke but it was still under warranty. I sent the tailstock to their headquarters and they tried to fix it and broke another part which they sent picture of it and it looked like it was bashed in by a hammer. They told me that they would not be able to get the part for 6 months!!! This is unbelievable… Rather than replace the tailstock they insist on getting the part. I use my lathe for a living and it wasn’t cheap. They are now ignoring my requests to have a reasonable resolution. I will be taking further steps to ensure I can get back to work. They also want to charge me for the labour… Even though it is under warranty… pathetic.

Very poor after customer service ,, took days to get a hold of someone in repair/service
Dropped off my saw in Concord and asked when repair is complete can you ship to pickering for pick up ,, they said no problem
They have called me three times asking when im coming to concord to pick up saw. Asked three times to ship
Whenever I call you only get voice mail , if they call back and get my voicemail for some reason they never leave a message. Pretty poor after sale service

Finally ready to make the doors for my new kitchen cabinets. The rail and stile cutter set I purchased has a chip in the carbide of 1 of the cutters. Just took it out of the box. The store contact person informed me that it is out of warranty. I have been a customer for 20 plus years.
Very disappointed. Not a customer any more.

First visit to Busy Bee Tools (Saturday) what a great little story jam packed with variety of metal & woodworking tools all well organized in a clean well laid out store. Staff is both very friendly upon entering the store as well as personable and very knowledgeable.

I'm disappointed in the service. I told the lady what I intended to do with the wood lathe and she informed me that a 3/4 HP would be able to handle large pieces, which it can't. The first larger piece and the machine bogged down. Far too late to return it now. I relied on their expertise as a rookie with zero knowledge and they aren't as knowledgeable as they claimed to be. Also, 2 of the men who work here have chips on their shoulders. I only have a car so that's what the machine needed to be loaded into. First they both said, "it won't fit in your car," which wasn't even remotely true. The one guy made it very obvious he thought it was a huge inconvenience to help out unloading it from it's crate. When I went back the following week for a bandsaw he said, "what are you driving today?" To which I replied, "same car as last time as it's all I own." He literally sighed like he was saying, "you are an annoying customer and you're inconveniencing me again." To top it off he didn't even have to help load it up! The forklift operator and I just slid it off the forks right into the back of my car. We had to unload it 5 minutes later as I thankfully realized it was the wrong bandsaw before driving 1 hour 40 minutes back home! I will be driving the extra distance to the Concord location from now on as they're friendly there and much more helpful.
