Edit - looks like they have re-opened, the meat section is stellar. Remaining items have been replenished to a certain extent. The store seems to have undergone some positive changes.

I prefer the older Memon. Now their shelves are full of repeated items just to 'fill' the shelf. Also, missing the South African and British products. They use to be shelved on one place but now they have been spread out throughout the store. They also added clothing and a bunch of unnecessary products. AND I dislike the music. It's annoying and loud.

The CLEANEST, modern, most organized south Asian store I’ve ever seen. The prices here are actually phenomenal. I come here less frequently due to where I now live yet I’ve found MORE great deals than anywhere else.One of my most recent grabs was a six pack Barbican for $4. Produce was phenomenal and great quality - fresh.The meat section is so clean and the staff there is very friendly.

I am from Bowmanville . compelled to express my feelings being a permanent customer of Memon supermarket for two reasons ..1....The overall environment is more than perfect in letter and spirit. No 2 . Entire staff is very cordial and supportive from top management Anwar Saheb .Mr.Zahid and Sumaira Mam very kind and Cooperative. Off course ...particularly Varun .Aeysha and Saman (events incharge ) are great assets of Memon .very humble .welcomes the customers with smiling face even under duress .Their highly professional and positive approach towards facilitation of customers and trouble shooting in my opinion is outstanding reposed customers satisfaction .hatts off all of them .quality and prices of entire grocery is remarkable as compared to big chains. Memon is not only a great super market but an asset to the entire communities through their events very well managed by Saman Saeed as well supports small vendors beside the grocery superstar Varun...win win for all is the conclusion.

Quality of food is great, prize isCompetitive.. But, they need to sort out their customer servicing model especially at the meat counter.. This is the third instance hence thought of posting it here. Today I waited for about 20 mins after I made it to the counter. The supervisor guy takes my order, picks up the big meat, delegates to a junior person. I went to another aisle for 5 mins to buy something else while they started to clean and cut. I come back and notice the junior guy picked up another order. I ask him where is my order, he says who did you order to? I point at the supervisor guy and he is like then take it from him.. At this point, I don’t know how to respond. And supervisor guy chooses to ignore as he is serving another customer. I expect them to deliver better being a top shop in Pickering. Hire someone who understands the culture and place him at the meat counter to manager customers.
