My husband purchased my engagement ring in 2021 from this location and in 2023, we came back to purchase my wedding bands. We had some spare time today and stopped by to polish my rings. As usual, the service was quick and amazing. Special thank you to the store manager, Olivia, for her heartwarming professionalism.

Great customer service and products. Hana is very friendly, knowledgeable with the product and helpful. I recommend her as she seems to be well experienced and very pleasant to work with. She went the extra mile with assisting my fiancé and I. She is down to earth and has a sense of humor but still remains professional. We were very satisfied with our experience in the store and with her.

I’ve been a Michael Hill customer on numerous occasions and had excellent experiences at the Scarborough Town Centre location. I just happened to be at Pickering Town Centre today and my partner wanted to show me jewelry she was interested in so I could buy it for her as a Christmas gift. We were greeted and when I stated we’re looking to check her ring size however we are not at the big day yet the representative at the counter insisted on knowing when the day was and not to size now because sizes can change which is fair however while I wasn’t interested in an engagement ring I was interested in purchasing one as a gift or even gold earrings for my partner. Once the representative thought there was no sale they proceeded to rudely walk away to help other customers. The second representative proceeded to say with a snarky attitude “we don’t do this for just anyone”. Since when? How am I supposed to know her size? By doing this for us and showing me kindness I would absolutely be inclined to purchase from you again in the future. What was the need for that comment? After that we thanked the representative for the sizing. We proceeded to look at gold earrings that were behind the desk on our own. My partner was evidently pointing at them in front of the second representative however instead of offering assistance she looked right at us and walked past us to help another customer. I work in customer service and haven’t been treated so badly in a long time especially by a jeweller. Yeah I really wanted to spend a unnecessary amount of money on my partners Christmas gift to show her appreciation but it definitely won’t be at this location anytime soon. I get sales are sales but I’m still human and deserve respect. I will not be returning.

I had the pleasure of meeting Olivia, Matthew and Angie while shopping for a bracelet last week. What an amazing Team! They were able to help us find exactly what we were looking for, at our target price, all while laughing through the whole process. What a breath of fresh air! I will return to this location solely due to the service I received from this awesome Team.

Exceptional customer experience when coming to this location to get an engagement ring for my fiancee. I came here and I was impressed by both the quality of the products but especially by the high regard to customer service. I was helped by Betty at this location who went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I was totally new to jewellery shopping, and she patiently taught me the ABC's of diamonds and ring designs. She also understood my unique cultural background and gave me reassurance and positive advice. Never for one second was I pressured to buy anything at the store. Betty has such an impressive level of emotional intelligence and strong understanding of the products that are available. She made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer, THANK YOU! I will come back here again!

My fiancé purchased my engagement ring two years ago at the Michael Hill, Pickering Town Centre location and we had to come back for our wedding bands because of their amazing customer service! We had the opportunity to work directly with the manager, Olivia, who provided outstanding customer service, and was able to prepare our desired rings in a short amount of time.

A HUGE thank you to Angie - tonight, my partner and I went in to browse at engagement rings: to get a better understanding and see what I liked vs what I didn’t like, as pictures and reality offer very different perspectives. It was quite overwhelming to say the least, but Angie made this process easier; she sat with me and asked me questions regarding what I liked and what I didn’t. She took the time to truly understand my responses and interests, and took the time to speak with my partner and discuss his questions. She brought beautiful recommendations - some that were never on my radar to begin with! While we are still in the process of browsing, it was truly a pleasure to work with her - she was very honest (in a positive way) and helped guide us in the right direction. Her support and expertise was the little light at the end of the tunnel that we didn’t realize we needed :)

My family and I are long time customers of Michael Hill, and have been shopping at the company for several years. My mom went in to get a ring sized she recently purchased for Christmas and received horrible customer service at the Pickering location. There was bad attitude, eye rolling, and all around bad customer service. To get disrespected by employees who are suppose to represent the company, and make us feel welcomed and helped, is such a disappointment. I thought Michael hill is a company that valued respect, kindness, embraced diversity, but clearly they do not. I will never be shopping at the Pickering location ever again, and I think it’s time I find another company to shop at. The manager at the Pickering location should really address their employees on how to respect and treat others.
