I had my car towed here because it was having issues starting on the 27th of December. They phoned me to tell me it was the head gasket and that to fix it, it would be around $3000 to fix it. They called me back 30 minutes later and said that the cost would actually be closer to $6000 or a new engine at $7300. Spoke to a different mechanic at another shop from the recommendation of a friend and they said they are over charging. I eventually had my car towed to this mechanic as Midas said I should not drive. This new mechanic had my car for 5 days and came back that he could not find anything wrong with it. My car was starting with no issues. Anything Midas told me was happening was not. I picked up my car on January 8th and have been driving it ever since with no issues. I called customer relations to file a complaint. The only person who has called me was Dave, the shop manager. Who basically said they stand by their diagnosis and that it is what it is. I called back Customer Relations, and they said that since every shop is a franchise, there isn't much they could do. I paid $250 for a misdiagnosis, with no resolution. Imagine if I had paid for them to "repair" my car or decided to purchase a new one based on their recommendation

Don't go to these guys they are Crooks. I needed to get my signal light replaced which was one bulb and they wanted to charge me $84. Decided to go to my own mechanic and it was $10. It's cheap to replace one bulb. These guys were going to take me to the cleaners because I'm a woman. Scammers!

Took my 2012 Escape in for a wheel alignment yesterday. The mechanic, "Van," drove my car in and out of the lot (before AND after the service) like a bat out of hell. I was standing outside, watching. He came back from the initial drive so fast that he slammed on MY brakes and skidded MY tires about a foot across the pavement. I'm not kidding or exaggerating. I don't have an exhaust leak or anything, but I could hear the engine screaming. Zero respect for customers' vehicles.
Dave seemed great and approachable (this is why the 2 stars), but I can't get over how my vehicle was treated. Won't be going back and I suggest, if you also care about your own vehicle, don't take it there either.

I needed an oil change before going on a road trip. My regular guy at JC Lube was booked so I decided to try Midas since they had a spot someday. As I brought my car in, there was this man angry with the front desk staff, because his car was leaking oil after they changed it. At that moment, I should have taken my car somewhere else, but because I was leaving the next day, I decided to commit to the oil change. The following morning, I woke up to oil in my driveway. I took it right back there and the mechanic did not take any ownership. He argued with me blaming other companies for not using the right drain plug. Yet, he used the old one and did not bring it to my attention. This is not the first time. When I mentioned this to a friend on the trip, she told me Madis install a new radiator and it leaked on her. This will definitely be my last experience with them.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Midas. After they repaired a punctured tire, the tire pressure sensor stopped working. When I brought this to their attention, they insisted that I pay an additional $60 for reprogramming the sensor. This should have been checked and resolved as part of the initial repair.
It's clear that they lack professionalism and customer care. I regret taking my vehicle here and will not be returning. I recommend looking elsewhere for reliable and honest service.

They got the job done (changing tires on rims) but never called when the job was done, kept the car overnight without notice and were very unorganized when it came to explaining why a quick 30 min appointment ended up taking over 3 hours.

Worst place ever, bought my car a 2020 Malibu Chevy an oil change and was told you no although appointment was confirmed, just because I refused to put synthetic oil and opted for the regular oil change. To add on the top of that they won’t even honor the coupon mentioned on their website. Money grab people.
I bet the owner will try to remove the reviews as well or will come up with stupid excuse that they never deal with me before

Worst service seen in my life just for egine light inspection they are charging 270 $ the cashier old buddy is to arrgont he don't know how to talk
