Came into the store to do a return. I had come in the previous day to pick up my order that I placed online. I was explaining how I was having a hard time finding the right fit but the ladies at the counter just pointed me in the direction of where the item was and did not even offer to try to assist me. 3 ladies behind the counter and no help was offered. I was refunded my money in less than 3 mins of walking into the store. For some reason, I was given dirty looks and it seemed like they were more interested in chatting among themselves. Went online and placed my new order online instead!

This Pet Valu is a wonderful store with the BEST staff! They are community oriented, supporting in need pet organizations by hosting events, encouraging donations and maximizing any support they can give! Kayla and Bonnie are just amazing with their knowledge, assistance and support! They are so appreciated! Their part timers, like Alex, Merrick to name a few have been terrific. I'm sorry, I can't name them all in this post!!

I went to buy food for my cats for there at 5:59 they close at 6. I even called them to say I was coming. The open sign was open. The door was closed and I asked the 2 women there to pls open and they looked at me and said no. I will never ever go to this place again!! This location I mean. Awful!

The customer care at this store, and Petvalu as a company, is atrocious. I live over 3,000km away from this location but my online account was hacked, and a person placed an online order for pick up through my account under their own name. As soon as the email notification came in, I called the store to identify the fraud and stop it from being picked up.
The store assured it had not been picked up, and they would not release the order when the person arrived. In order to cancel the order, they said I needed to call “customer care”. When I called “customer care”, they then stated that they could not cancel the order but only the store could. Customer care stated they would call the store directly and have it cancelled and not to worry.
Fast forward 4.5 hours later, the “order is now picked up” email came through. Negligence by the employees at this location and the customer care resulted in this fraudulent purchase going through. To top it off, they have now indicated they will not refund the over $200 applied to my credit card and are forcing me to dispute the charges through my credit card company.
Horrible customer service by the store and company and I’d recommend everyone to avoid at all costs.

I like the variety of products that they sell. Been to Pickering and Kingston location, they are very consistent with their customer service, very friendly and most of all helpful.

My daughter and I came here today to drop our dog off for its teeth cleaning with kissable k9. They were amazing, but I found the manager to be quite unpleasant with her type of conversations about her child’s bowel movement and her yacking everywhere and touching everything, least she could have done Is worn at mask for the customers and her coworkers sake. When my daughter was cashing out she continuously mentioned her twins being sick with the flu and that she might have it. I do not come to a pet store to hear about one’s personal’s life or to get sick.. quite unpleasant experience. Other than that, my dogs teeth are amazing, thank you kissable k9!
