The Shops at Pickering City Centre is a decently sized plaza located in the heart of Pickering, undergoing a transition with the upcoming Pickering City Centre condominiums. The mall offers a nice selection of stores, with shoppers particularly enjoying the great deals and cheap pricing at FOREVER 21 and SIRENS. While the overall experience at the mall is positive, with the food court washroom being praised for its exceptional cleanliness, there have been some issues reported. Visitors have encountered problems with the sanitary product dispensers in the women's washroom, with both the pad/tampon and napkin dispensers being out of order and unable to accept change. The mall's management has since addressed this concern, and signage has been added to the dispensers. Additionally, the mall's security team has demonstrated their effectiveness, as witnessed by a group of shoppers who saw the guards quickly and bravely confront a group of armed teenagers attempting to rob a jewelry store, causing the robbers to flee without stealing anything. This incident has reassured the community that the mall's security team is reliable and proactive in ensuring the safety and well-being of visitors. However, some shoppers have noted that the mall seems to be experiencing a decline, with a number of closed-out storefronts and a general sense of the mall becoming outdated. Suggestions have been made to update the parking lot and consider modernizing the overall mall experience to keep up with the changing retail landscape.

I was in the Food Court today (about 2:30pm). Cleanest (Men's) washroom I have ever been in. For a public facility it was pristine!. Kudos to whomever is responsible for keeping such an outstanding restroom and it's amenities!
