Unfortunately I will never deal with Sleep Country again as they are not ethically moral and value profit over the customer.I have gone through the proper channels of communication to remedy the situation but it took 10 days for the area manager to give me a call with no real solution.I have read other low rated reviews and it’s interesting that they received a reply to remedy their concerns….if the same happens here, then it’s unfortunate as this should have been handled far before things escalated to this.EDIT*** March 8th, 2023As per the below reply from your customer service team, i followed your instructions and sent an email but it has been almost two weeks and no one has contacted me yet.This is an example of poor customer relation when expectations are set. I wonder how this will play out as this further supports my original review. On lookers looking in, i hope this review serves you well prior to dealing with Sleep Country.

Recently bought "2 for 1" pillows for $260. Told salesman I wanted to try them and would be back for a bed. Was NOT informed that they could not be returned once opened. Upon contact they said it was printed on the bill - true. Any other place tells you at cash - usually by STAMPING it on the bill if there is no return. They claimed it was for sanitary reasons especially with COVID. But I was encouraged to try any sample pillow in the store by placing my head on it WITH NO PROTECTION!. Other stores - COSTCO - will take pillows back. They should be covering the pillows when people try them. After much arguing with Customer Service, I was offered and accepted a $200 gift card for the store, but no refund.

Very nice sleep country. Little bit on the smaller end but gentleman working was very helpful and knows his stuff! Was able to get two new pillows and right at closing time too!Thanks again.

Super knowledgeable staff, lots on display to try. Prices are fair and they will price match.They also have a lot of boxed mattresses to try as well (Casper, purple, etc).

Was a quick in and out and purchasing 2 sets of mattresses. The salesperson was efficient and friendly and called later to confirm delivery. Delivery was on time and everything was great.

Being old farts we have always used Sleep Country . Their people are very nice with no hurry and let you check out any bed you want to . They will guide you to your price comfort and let you decide . We've never been let down.

I live much closer to a couple other Sleep Country locations but came to Pickering because I thought they had the nicest staff and wanted to give them my business! However, I found out that since I’m just making an exchange, it didn’t make a difference (even if I purchased a more expensive mattress.) Nonetheless, they were friendly, available to answer questions when needed and professional. I was surprised by how busy they were, but they still took the time to ensure I was attended to, despite the fact my visit was for an exchange. Between my husband and I, we’ve visited three times over the last few months and the experience has always been positive. I provided this feedback in store and they thanked me and apologized that my experience wasn’t consistent across all Sleep Country locations and that they’re happy to help. We’ll be back for future purchases.

We had an excellent experience buying our first bed in many years at this location. Our salesperson Khan, was very friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Everything that we were looking for and/or was promised including delivery dates etc. went as scheduled. Even the delivery guys who set up our new bed and frame were on time and great to work with. We would totally recommend Sleep Country Pickering to anybody looking at purchasing a new bed.

It's a real rip off!!! I tried out their pillows and they were super soft, feel really nice and sold me on buying a pair. It was supposed to buy one get one free, yeh right! I ended up paying nearly $400 for two pillows, then I get home and sleep with them MAN!!! they are as hard as a rock, very uncomfortable and I have to try and roll over the pillows since they get really hot. Nothing like the Advertisement, but then its only advertisement! I would definitely NOT recommend this load of garbage, its cheaper to buy from another different store than this brand. Well buyers BEWARE!!!!

We purchased a mattress and tested in store. The mattress we tested was different than what we received. We had to replace with a better mattress because we were waking up with sore backs. The box spring was horrible. It actually broke when i stepped on it. I tried for a warranty claim and was refused even though it was only 2 months old. I went to Home Depot and bought $40 of replacement wood and added 30 extra slats to make the box spring more firm and now we are resting peacefully.
