Well I went to Brock to buy shoes for my son's Wedding that is coming up very soon. I was grated with a smile from the ladies. I made my way to the shoe area. Listen to one co worker talking to the same lady that gave me a smile.
I then made my way to another area of the shoe store. I took some dress shoes off to look st them
I took some pics. Still looking at co workers minding their own business. Stllno one came over to ask if I needed any help. (NOTHING). I was listening to the chatty lady talking to another co worker saying"you got a haircut).
I went into the lady department hearing girls talking about coming back to work at least one day. (A student going off to school)
I love this store but I guess I have to come in waving $$$$$ around. To get any service. 45mins I was in the store. I got greated with another smile. I left saying not happy. The employee wanted to help me, but it was to late.
I won't be back and that is sad ? ? ? ? ? ?

This is a unique place, in that it is like a mini department store. They carry a huge variety of items - high end shoes (Blundstone, Keen, for example), purses, clothing including pyjamas, jewellery, outdoor stuff, slippers and decor items, to name a few.
We were here at midday on a weekday in December, and the Xmas shoppers were out in full force, and one can look around without being approached by staff. It is a small town establishment catering to a wide variety of clients, all under one roof.

They have a sale area and did not say in the receipt that it was a final sale. I called immediately 1hr after my purchase cos it’s a wrong size, and they left a message in my voicemail that I can’t return my purchase which cost me almost $130 with tax because it was on sale. Merry Christmas to them. This boots will be for donation.

I have visited this store for some years, usually close to Christmas time, and staff are usually friendly. I’m not sure what’s happened this year but I encountered very disinterested staff members when I asked if something was in stock, or if any more holiday stock was coming in. At one point - at my request - a manager was approached so that I could get some kind of answer and even the manager could not bother to stop what she was doing or even look in my direction to address the customer in a respectful and courteous manner. The store was not busy the entire time I was there and none of the staff, including the manager, were busy with other customers, so can’t blame it on that. Busy or not, I have higher expectations for customer service but at least I would have understood more if the store was full of customers. I will say one lady was slightly more friendly in another part of the store, but unfortunately, like the other staff on the floor, she wasn’t knowledgeable or possibly not trained. I have always enjoyed coming to this store but my experience here this time was very unpleasant. Improve customer service (including that of managers), and please take the time to train your staff. Not entirely sure I want to come back.

Customer service was outstanding. Two of the sales women went above and beyond to assist me with returning a coat and finding one that was better suited for me, even though it was a long process. Cannot say enough great things about the assistance I received! I will definitely be returning in the future.

Some staff great yet only seemed to be available once. Remaining staff was looking after one customer at a time and that wasn’t me, lol so left feeling aweful and not wanting to ever go back. When I went in however, I really wanted to make a purchase.
