This is NOT a restaurant. Only a place to stay. The only food is the continental breakfasts like toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, juice, cereal, and coffee. Their website needs updating. Very deceiving. Our room was very nice except that there are only 2 small dirty drawers to put your clothes in. No closet. The outside area has not been maintained. A lot of weeds, broken bird bath, and the porch was filthy. We were very thankful that 2 girls on staff came to sweep up the porch and cleaned off the tables for us to use. We needed the porch to sit on in the evening. Fabulous location. Beautiful beach nearby. Lovely restaurants nearby. All walking distance. Wish The Telegraph House was a B&B like it used to be. Very sad that these new owners are not maintaining this beautiful heritage house. Would come back if cleaned up, otherwise we will not be returning.Walkability: All walking distance

What used to be the jewel of Port Stanley, the Telegraph House has become an eyesore. The outside of this heritage building is in disrepair, badly needing painting and updates, loose stones on walkway and rotting wood on steps. What used to be lush with beautiful flower gardens are now full of weeds and the beautiful porch was a mess. With guests arriving, you would think they would have at least made an attempt to clean. Thankfully the staff who I have no complaints about, came over, and at least swept and wiped off the cobwebs. The rattan chairs need to be refinished, the cushions, when we shook them were full of dust. There is a pool in the back which I am told now have frogs enjoying it. Our room which is called the blue room is the one we used to stay in a few years ago, while it is nice and big, the furniture is tired and is in need of a paint job. Our TV must be 30 years old , very smal & what little drawer space there was was very dusty, I had to lay towels on the inside before I could put my clothes in.. The bathroom is nice and big and the shower is fine. The Harbour Inn owner has apparently bought this building, but it is more than apparent He has no interest in preserving the building and has done nothing to it over these past few years which is so very sad. Was very very disappointing and until there are much needed updates done, we will not come back.

We stayed there recently for the first time. Pretty disappointing experience. The room was tired and in need of some basic updates, the full house AC was on full blast all night, felt like a meat locker! While the pictures show some nice meals and patio area, it too was run down with garbage everywhere and no one around. Forget about food, there wasn't even a coffee station or coffee machines in the rooms. Wifi didn't work either. The location is about as good as it gets, but that's all you get.

Great stay at Telegraph House Inn. Room was very charming and with quaint furnishings and small fridge & microwave. Huge bathroom with footed tub and walk in shower. It was just a tad humid even with AC and ceiling fan. The Harbor Inn across the street provided a delicious continental breakfast with view of the harbor. Many other amazing restaurants near by. Will visit again :o)

We had a room at the front on the main floor, quite large and clean. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was also a good size. We enjoyed relaxing on the side porch while overlooking the Main Street. The grounds could be lovely but unfortunately there seems to have been very little maintenance done recently. A sweep of the front porch and side porch would not take much. Also, there was a large blue garbage bin in the middle of the garden with dead weeds and foliage hanging out of it the whole three days we were there. Gardens could have been cleaned up and flowers added to the empty planter boxes. A little bit of garden maintenance would go a long way to adding to the look of this place, but it feels somewhat neglected

Didn't do the bnb but it was one of the few restaurant places open on boxing day and boy were we happy we found it. Service and food were prompt. Soup delish and prime rib sandwich spot on. Took the apple crisp to go as we were too full. May come back for brunch.

Stopped here for brunch. What a quaint little place with an exquisite menu and reasonable prices. Food was delicious. Atmosphere great. Friendly service.

This place was great! It had a nice simple menu and it was included with our stay at Inn on the Harbour which was across the street. Even without that the prices were reasonable and I always thought this place was fancy. We also like that they don't give you jam and milk in little packages. We are trying to be low waste people and this really helps.

While on a day trip to Port Stanley we had lunch at the Telegraph House. We had a table on the porch. We had the beet salad and the pulled pork sandwich. The beet salad was delicious with candied pecans. My daughter thought the pulled pork salad was one of the best she had ever had. There was an up charge for salad instead of fries which troubles me but overall a good lunch in peaceful surroundings.

My husband and I came here for breakfast & dinner. They had a jazz band for dinner on friday night which was super nice! The food was delicious! I had a ceasar chicken salad and hubby had pulled pork sandwich. The gin & tonics were also fab! Next day for breakfast we had coffee, pancakes & eggs with toast. Everything was superb! We will be back on our next weekend trip to Port Stanley ?

We had a delicious lunch, and it was well presented. Beautiful old Victorian house , very quaint. Prices are fair. The beet salad was very good, as was my prime rib sandwich. This is all I have to say but they want 200 characters.

Spent a the August long weekend her with a girlfriend. The Telegraph House is simply lovely! Beds were very comfortable with lovely decor. The breakfast in the morning was also very good. Relaxed atmosphere. I will go back!
