About RiverBrink Art Museum
RiverBrink Art Museum, located near the Niagara Gorge, is a charming and historic art museum open to the public since 1983. Supported by the Weir Foundation, private donations, volunteers, and various government sources, the museum offers changing exhibitions and educational programs each year, serving both local communities and tourists to Niagara. The museum’s collection features around 1,400 pieces of art, including works from local artists, First Nations beadwork, and Inuit art, with themed exhibits and focus artist displays. The building itself is beautiful, with wood-paneled rooms and hallways that preserve its historic charm. Art is displayed on both floors, including hallways and stairwells, creating a unique viewing experience. A basement library offers free access to a wide archive of books related to local history and art, which visitors, including students and researchers, frequently enjoy. The museum also hosts events and has a gift shop that highlights local artists and artisans, offering art, books, cards, maps, and some pieces for sale. Visitors often appreciate the welcoming staff, who are enthusiastic and eager to discuss art and history. While some visitors find the museum small and changing exhibitions might not always match their interests, many recommend it for its rich history, beautiful setting, and engaging programming. Located on the Niagara Parkway, it is a hidden gem for art lovers and those interested in Niagara’s cultural heritage.

It was nice and small, the history of it is cool but at the time it didn't have the art work I was looking to see. I'd check it out again because it's constantly changing
