Walked in to buy a car wash. Staff told me only touches was working. Yet, after a huge line-up, finally getting to the wash, the car wash only washed the top half my car. The lower spray nuzzles (botj sides) were not working! Back of the car was unwashed as well; not even sprayed. Staff responded to my complaint claiming that he had advised everyone that only touches was working and refrained from admitting that the touchlees was malfunctioning. This is a scam!! Wasted my time and money!! Esso is responsible to ensure their stations provide care and proper service! If malfunctioning, they should close the car wash!! Unacceptable!

I stopped by this Esso station on 16th Avenue yesterday afternoon to fill up before the holiday rush, and it was a straightforward experience. The pumps were all working fine, and the area around them looked clean despite the slushy conditions from the recent snow—someone had clearly shoveled and salted the ground. I popped into the Circle K afterward for a coffee and a few snacks; the store is a bit narrow when it's busy, but everything was stocked and tidy, with hot drinks ready to go. The attendant was polite and quick at the counter. It's conveniently located right at the Bayview intersection, easy to pull in and out even with traffic, and the touchless car wash was running, though I didn't use it this time. Handy spot for a quick gas stop in Richmond Hill.

This gas station doesn't put anything noticeable on the curb, I didn't see it and ran over it. And right before I leave I saw another car ran through the curb. There is high chance that our vehicle might get damaged by this. And just imagine when the curb is cover up by the snow.

Terrible service. Tonight they kept me waiting for 10 min and just said the system is updating. After that they increased price from 112 to 133!!!!!
Never go there again.
That is shabby trick to bring costumers there and just make all pumps unavailable and make a long queue and then increase the price!!!!!

Esso’s deceptive pump tricked me into buying a car wash I didn’t want, wasted 40 minutes of my time on a broken system, and when I asked for help, I was met with shockingly rude, dismissive service—an infuriating experience that exposed a total lack of accountability, integrity, and basic respect for customers.

DO NOT USE THE CARWASH HERE.
If I could give zero stars, I would.
I took my car to the Esso car wash, and it ended up being the worst mistake. The system malfunctioned and badly scratched my car. When I approached the store manager, Darwish, he initially promised to follow up and call me back. He never did. I had to chase him down myself. When I finally got a hold of him, he admitted that the camera footage from inside the car wash clearly shows their system malfunctioning and damaging my vehicle—yet he refused to provide me with the footage.
Darwish claimed he submitted a report to Circle K headquarters and said they would contact me, but guess what? They never did. And now Darwish refuses to give me any contact information for Circle K or follow up on the matter at all.
This is absolutely unacceptable. Damaging a customer's car and refusing to take responsibility or even provide the promised follow-up is disgraceful behavior. If you value your vehicle and your peace of mind, avoid this place at all costs. The lack of accountability and customer service here is astonishing...
