Before I came to Maryam my hair was so bad. It had so many split ends and I was so unsatisfied with the way I looked. Maryam is an absolute gem! She is phenomenal at her work and she knows exactly what she is doing! She was able to give me exactly what I wanted with my hairstyle and I love it so much!! I am definitely coming to her with my hair forever!

I recently visited for a hair keratin treatment on a Friday afternoon and was disappointed with my experience. The owner, Zahra Rahimi Matin (Bahar), came across as rude and unapproachable, treating clients who were not part of her inner circle in a dismissive manner. During my visit, a bridal party was present, and extremely loud music was played to entertain them, showing little regard for the comfort of other clients. Additionally, the service I received was far below my expectations and did not compare with the quality I’ve experienced at other salons. Overall, the negative energy and lack of professionalism left me feeling unwelcome. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this salon.

I want to share my experience in Giva Bahar salon with Maryam Amani. She is very nice and welcoming, and she makes sure you are comfortable while you're in her chair. Truly she is one of the most experienced hair stylist in Toronto. She did an amazing job with the color and I got a lot of compliments. I suggest everyone to book with her because she will not disappoint. I am very happy with the result.

I had a terrible experience at another beauty salon where I went for a haircut and highlights. The haircut was off, and the highlights were so poorly done that they left my hair damaged. I was really disappointed, and it wasn’t at all what I expected.
Then I found Maryam Amani at Giva Bahar Beauty Salon, and she completely turned things around. She listened to exactly what I wanted and nailed it. After my previous experience, I was nervous, but Maryam’s skill and attention to detail put me at ease. My hair feels fresh, healthy, and stylish now. I can’t recommend her enough!

MJ, whose real name is Mohammad Javad, embodies professionalism and friendliness. Despite it being his first time working on my hair, his skillfulness was evident with how perfectly he handled the fade. The precision and care he applied were impressive and made me feel like a valued client.
What makes MJ stand out is not only his technical expertise but also his personable nature. MJ exudes a charm that resembles the traditional Iranian hospitality, often described as "dash mashti" - friendly and warm-hearted. It was like catching up with an old friend while getting a top-notch haircut.
The atmosphere in Giva Bahar is just as inviting as MJ. It’s a haven for anyone looking to enjoy a great haircut in a comfortable environment. The staff are attentive, and the overall vibe is one of relaxation and camaraderie.

I had the worst haircut ever from another salon and was feeling so down about it when I went to Giva Bahar. But then I met Maryam Amani, and she worked a miracle on my hair! I honestly thought there was no way to fix it, but Maryam completely turned it around and gave me a style I love. She was not only incredibly skilled but also so kind and understanding, making me feel at ease throughout the process. If I could give her 100 stars, I absolutely would! I'll definitely be coming back for more services in thesfuture. Highly recommend Maryam and Giva Bahar!
