My son was planning to get a hamster today. Lisa at PetSmart was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently. She made sure all my questions were answered and offered thoughtful recommendations that were truly informative and easy to understand. It was clear she genuinely cares about both the customers and the well-being of the pets. Thanks to Lisa, my experience was smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable.

There's a QR code scan in the aquarium section if you needed help. Very technologically advanced and would be beneficial only if someone actually shows up. 9/10 times I have to go to the cash register to personally ask for their assistance since no body shows up after 10 mins wait. Aquarium section is looking sad. Small space for the cat adoption center too :/

Amazing customer service! Christine was so nice and helpful when we went in. She told us to wait a day to maximize the points we would get from the Black Friday offers and we saved more than we thought we could! Super thankful we spoke to her when we were there, she was very knowledgeable!

I had a very disappointing experience at this PetSmart location. When trying to purchase a product online, the website showed it was out of stock. However, when I went to the physical store to double-check, the cashier kindly confirmed they actually had it available. She was very polite and even called the manager to assist. Unfortunately, the manager (a tall, middle-aged white man) was extremely rude and sarcastic. When I explained the issue with the online system, he dismissively told me to “go solve it online.” When I pointed out that the cashier had shown me the product was in stock right there, he responded sarcastically, questioning how I could possibly know that.
His attitude was so unprofessional that I left feeling very upset, especially since I was simply trying to buy something to improve my home environment for my cat. I usually shop at this location because it’s close to my home and the staff is friendly, but this manager’s behavior has made me not want to return anymore.

This review is for Parmiss, who works at this location.
I have only seen her there a couple of times, so I think she might be new, but she is already amazing at what she does! Parmiss is kind, helpful, and provides some of the best customer service I have ever experienced at any PetSmart location. She goes out of her way to assist customers and always has a warm, positive attitude. PetSmart is lucky to have her on the team!

We didn't buy anything. It's a place where my children love to go and understand pet information. They have a lot of fish type that I don't expect they have.

We recently visited the cat adoption center with the sincere intention of finding a feline companion to join our family, which already includes both a dog and a cat. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing due to the conduct of a staff member (an older lady) whose demeanor can only be described as unwelcoming and needlessly hostile.
Upon entering with our well-behaved dog—an essential step in ensuring compatibility with any potential new pet—we were met not with assistance or enthusiasm, but with thinly veiled contempt. The staff member in question appeared visibly irritated by our presence and seemed to project personal biases against dogs, making unfounded assumptions about their effect on the cats. Her behavior included disapproving stares and dismissive comments mumbled underneath her breathe through the glass while petting the cat intensely to appear as she is calming them down when they were unbothered by our presence to begin with. Her behaviour was suggestive that we were somehow disturbing the animals, despite the fact that they were relaxed and unfazed.
It is deeply troubling that someone representing an adoption facility would behave in such a discouraging and judgmental manner. If the goal is to facilitate successful adoptions and find loving homes for these animals, then an open-minded and informed approach is essential. Unfortunately, the staff member’s unprofessional attitude and apparent lack of basic customer service skills reflect a concerning level of ignorance and a poor understanding of animal behavior and interspecies socialization.
Prospective adopters should not be subjected to personal bias or condescension. This kind of behavior not only undermines the mission of the adoption center but potentially deprives animals of loving homes.
It is my sincere hope that this individual reflects on her approach and receives the necessary training to engage with the public in a respectful and constructive manner.
