I had a very poor experience just trying to get basic information from this car wash, even before using their service.
Today the temperature is around –15°C, and I called to ask about their opening hours. The person on the phone repeatedly said “closed, closed,” without any proper explanation. I clearly explained that I was asking about their regular office/opening hours, not whether they were open at that exact moment.
I was then told that they are 24 hours, which is very confusing. When I asked whether they were closed specifically due to the weather, the person kept repeating that they were “closed” and refused to explain why.
Saying the business is 24 hours but not actually operating as such, combined with such a dismissive and unhelpful attitude, is extremely misleading. This level of customer service is unacceptable.
I haven’t even used their service yet, and the experience was already this bad. I will definitely be blacklisting this business.

Self-service car wash (power jet coin wash)
The facility is in a horrible condition! Just see the photos which show how the wash bays are full of garbage, all hoses are leaking and except one , the rest does work and there is a line up for an extremely poor service. I hope the management of the gas station takes 2 minutes to just walk around …..

This Shell station keeps both the automatic car wash and the jet wash area almost permanently closed. Even when the weather is completely suitable, both services remain unavailable with no explanation. Other Shell stations in the area operate their car wash services without issues, so the constant closure here is simply unacceptable. A location carrying the Shell name should not operate with such inconsistency and lack of responsibility. This approach shows poor service quality and does not reflect the standards Shell claims to represent.

A complete fiasco
“This place is no longer a Shell station – it looks and operates like an abandoned, neglected lot. There are 7 self-car wash bays, yet for almost ONE MONTH only ONE of them has been working. People are forced to wait for long periods of time, and there is absolutely no explanation as to why the others are closed. This is pure negligence and irresponsibility.
Everything is old, poorly maintained, filthy, and surrounded by trash. It is honestly embarrassing to see such conditions under a brand like Shell. There is clearly zero care, zero maintenance, and zero accountability here.
The automatic car wash is an absolute joke as well. Yesterday it was blocked by a vehicle and completely unusable. Today I returned, and it was already closed before 11 PM. Is this how a business is supposed to operate? Opening and closing whenever they feel like it? This is not ‘flexibility’ — this is total disrespect to customers’ time and money.
A business cannot be run this badly and this unprofessionally. Customers should not be forced to drive to other locations every time just to wash their car. This situation is unacceptable and does not represent the Shell brand. The authorities and management should seriously investigate and step in immediately.
If this situation does not improve, I will not spend a single dollar at this location again, and I will make sure others don’t either.”
UPDATE: Shell’s response”
This is a generic, automated response that does not address any of the actual issues I mentioned. I did not complain just to be ‘appreciated’ — I complained because your facility is not functioning properly.
Acknowledging feedback is meaningless if nothing changes. What exactly are you going to fix? When will the self-wash bays be fully operational again? When will the automatic wash follow real, consistent operating hours? And when will basic cleanliness and maintenance finally be taken seriously at this location?
Customers don’t need polite excuses. We need real solutions and a clear timeline. Until that happens, this response means nothing.”
Please provide a real update instead of an automated corporate message.”

My stolen airmiles cash were used at this location. I called and called with minutes of it happening. No answer. People working there probsbly in on it

Stopped by this gas station at 10 PM to fill my tires—apparently, I picked the one magical machine that not only refuses to inflate but actively drains air. Genius. Went inside to report it, and the employee, multitasking like a true professional, was on the phone while simultaneously telling me to “calm down.” Calm down? Sure, let me just sit on the curb with flat tires while you demonstrate exemplary customer service.
They generously tossed $5 at me, locked the door behind me like a dramatic finale, and left me to the mercy of strangers—thankfully, a kind passerby saved the day. I filed a complaint on Shell’s website and received a $50 gift card as a token of corporate responsibility. Nothing says “we care” quite like a plastic rectangle.
Honestly, if I wanted a lesson in how not to treat customers, I’d have signed up for a seminar. Highly recommend management reconsider who’s actually fit to work here.

I stop at this has station every morning.The employee in the morning is not only rude, but yesterday she told me no lotto tickets with over a $50.00 win will be validated. She then claimed every Shell gas station will not pay over $50.00. I called head office and was told that is not true at all. This gas station is independent and its their decision but to call the lotto office and let them know. The employee that used to ne there in the mornings was great. This one is just awful.

I stopped at this gas station to adjust the air pressure in my tires.
Not only did the machine fail to inflate them, but it actually released more air, leaving me stranded and unable to continue my trip.
When I went inside to report it, the clerk just said, “Yes, I know it’s broken.”
I told him they should at least put up a sign to warn customers.
I wasted my time, money, and even damaged my tire because of this.
Really disappointing experience.
