I waited 23 minutes for a specialist to cone over. I spoke to 4 associate to show up. Only speaking to manager someone came to help. It is winter and there are staff walking around and doing nothing. Will go to seaside near my offcie buy all my big ticket items

I have visited this Home Depot a few times in the past, and my experience was generally fine. However, my visit on Sunday, Dec 29, around 5 PM was extremely disappointing and made me question Home Depot's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Upon arrival, I asked an associate where to find tarps. He directed me to the wrong aisle, leaving me wandering around to locate the item I needed. While I won’t name the individual (though I remember clearly), I believe this reflects a lack of proper training on Home Depot’s part.
Next, I approached a cashier to request assistance in the bath area, as I needed help moving a toilet. She assured me someone would meet me there. However, no one showed up. After waiting, I approached two associates passing by with a small lift truck and requested help. It took an additional 15 minutes and multiple conversations with other staff before someone finally assisted us.
I hoped things would improve from there, but unfortunately, they didn’t. At checkout, I asked for help loading the toilet into my car, as both my husband and I have back problems. After 20 minutes and several calls from the cashier, someone eventually came to assist. Shockingly, during this time, multiple associates walked past us, including those who had previously helped us, but none offered assistance. When help finally arrived, the associate complained about the weight of the item and asked us to help lift it as well—defeating the purpose of asking for help in the first place.
This experience was an absolute disaster. If a customer with back problems asks for assistance and is assured that an associate will help, this is not how they should be treated. Both my husband and I are now suffering from worsened back pain because of this ordeal.
Home Depot needs to prioritize proper training and customer service. This level of disregard for customer needs is unacceptable.

Love this location. Buy my tools and more from here. Never talked to someone that wanst helpfull. They somehow generally know where stuff is. Even if it shows online in an isle, you go there it's not there... ask and they somehow know where it is. Buddy today was especially helpful item was up top of everything. He fished it down with a hook of the self 😆. Definitely use this location!

I am customer for many years. Last year I purchased a Vissani microwave. It stopped working and still under warranty. I couldn’t find receipt and went to a Richmond Hill Home Depot with original package and microwave if they can trace the purchase. However, head cashier couldn’t. I also asked if they can keep the microwave and provide me replacement but in vain. Firstly they sell crap products and secondly I go to them for support, they don’t appreciate customer relation. I will always go to Costco to buy any electronics or for major purchases as they don’t need a receipt for returns and refunds.

See, I faced a very rude and unprofessional lady working in customer service. She was talking with me in very rude manner while texting in her cell phone and even didn’t bother to make an eye contact. This is awful!!! This means that people who working in customer service has zero customer service training themselves!!!!
BTW the other lady was super nice and helped me.
Management should make proper training and instruction for these kind of people and being more selective based on employees experience and their professional backgrounds should
She maid a bad day and bad shopping experience for me !!!

This location does not follow Home Depot’s price matching policy, the employee doesn’t even know how to read the pricing change graph. I had to wait another month for the price to drop again to buy my product online.
They also don’t honour your order. I placed an online order for an IN STOCK item for pick up and they cancelled it after a few days after the stock was sold. They didn’t even hold my order when I placed it.
Terrible customer service and operations. I’d rather drive 15min to another location with better service than to come here.

I recently had the pleasure of working with an exceptional customer service representative at Home Depot. From the moment I walked in, Dorsa was incredibly friendly and attentive. She went out of her way to help me find exactly what I needed, offered helpful product suggestions, and ensured I had a smooth checkout experience. It’s rare to find customer service that truly stands out, but Dorsa made my visit a lot easier and more enjoyable. I highly recommend this Home Depot location for its great staff and excellent service!

I recently visited Home Depot for a service, and I had the pleasure of working with Adrineh. She was incredibly nice and went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. Adrineh was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure I left with all my questions answered and the right products for my project. It’s rare to find such genuine customer service, and I really appreciated her assistance. Thanks, Adrineh, for making my experience at Home Depot a positive one!

Plenty of staff around always. My Fav Homedepot of all time. Very friendly people work here. Pro desk is always helpful. Plenty of very experienced people work at this location which makes it very easy to find stuff that you are looking for. Lumber staff always ready to show up and help. Without asking for help, I had several times experience having them walking to me and helping me choose the best pieces of lumbers when I was purchasing lumbers. Customer service desk is always friendly and willing to help you at any moment. Rental Dep is very very friendly, they also have staff in there that speaks different languages such as Chinese and Indian and that I saw it made a big difference when new comers needed help in different days visit at this store. Def 5 star manager in this store.
