Most of the employees are wonderful with the exception of one of the newer older men who works there. They made an error and started pumping premium gas which we caught quickly. The woman said they would fix it but this man did not when it was time to pay. Even though it was a small dollar amount he argued with me and was extremely rude and unprofessional. We have always gone here for gas but we will not be returning until we know this man is no longer there. Someone like this has no business working with the public.

My wife gets gas here once every 4-6 weeks when she's there getting things from their awesome store. Price is great, service has always been above and more often than not, beyond her expectations.

Always some of the cheapest brand name gas around. Also one of the few full serve gas bars left in the area. The staff is always prompt to get out to the pumps to fill you up. Staff is always friendly.Definitely worth the drive as they are always 5-10 cents less a litre.

Overall: 3 out of 5Food: 3 out of 5Price: 5 out of 5Atmosphere: 5 out of 5Service: 2 out of 5Verdict: Not likely to returnPros:Old School Diner that reckons of times of yore, Extremely Budget-Friendly Pricing, No Tax, Friendly Service, Homemade Soup and Pies, Comfortable and spacious bench seating, Good for standard diner fare - breakfast, burgers, poutineCons:Major - Limited Menu, ZERO Flexibility with food offerings, Lack of quality local ingredients, Cash onlyMinor – No direction as to whether to wait to be seated or to find a table, wait time once seated was rather extraordinary, no bill provided in a timely manner – wait time to pay also unreasonably long, zero condiments whatsoever at the table (no ketchup at the table? really?)A friend and I were passing through Alderville First Nation today around 1:00pm and decided to stop into The Tall Teepee for a coffee and to grab a bite to eat as neither of us had eaten much and were feeling peckish. I’ve passed this place many times and had been meaning to stop in here for a long time to see what it is like so we decided to try it.The atmosphere is awesome and reckons of a time gone by. Old wood paneling, large sprawling banquettes, homemade soups and pies. It was a little confusing when we first arrived as it wasn’t clear where the entrance to the restaurant was. We went in to both the souvenir shop and presumably where one pays for gas before landing on the right door to enter the restaurant. When we entered as first time guests it wasn’t clear whether we should wait to be seated or seat ourselves, which is what we did.We waited an extraordinary amount of time once seated to be acknowledged and served and had considered simply leaving. At long last a very pleasant waitress arrived with menus and asked what we’d like to drink and we both ordered a coffee. When she returned to take our orders it went downhill somewhat. My companion is truly severely gluten intolerant - it's not a fad paleo diet type of thing. Given that the menu is extremely sparse with absolutely no consideration or concessions made for special dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free) – she was hoping for some eggs or such therefore she asked if she could get an omelette – and was summarily told that breakfast service was over - what is the hardship? She being the genius that she is craftily ordered a Toasted Western Without Bread so she wouldn't pass out from starvation.I opted for the special: Peameal & Cheese on a Bun and the Soup of the Day. The soup was Chicken with Rice and was delightful. Beautiful homecooking style soup with a wonderful broth. A little lacking in actual chicken or rice or other but very good indeed. My Peameal and Cheese was served on a hamburger bun – quite sub par – could have been so much better with very little effort sourcing a better product.
