My elderly mother has trusted this business for decades…. They have kept her car well maintained and are fair and professional. Recently she had to give up driving, and George (GM) was compassionate to the situation. Auto Max picked up the car, and gave a fair price to buy the car. The entire process was very professional and alleviated a-lot of potential stress. I highly recommend Auto Max in Sarnia!

Got an oil coating for winter… customer service was decent but I did have to go back because they just “assumed” I didn’t want my hood done and weren’t very thorough when doing my doors either. Would’ve given them four stars if they didn’t put one of those stupid advertising stickers that’s impossible to get off in one piece on my car. If companies are going to advertise themselves on MY car they should be giving me a discount. I don’t advertise for free🥱

Tim was very good in answering all our questions about the car purchase we made with him. He gave us all the information we asked for and we were very comfortable dealing with him. The car was ready in good time. Some of the paint detailing was not very smooth but was okay and the car was very clean. We appreciate all his help and being able to buy a high quality car locally.

I get my van detailed here every year. I bring it in with crumbs everywhere and it comes home spotless. Well worth the money!

Just bought our 4th (yes 4th!) car from Auto Max. Cannot say enough good things about Tim here. Each car is impeccably detailed upon pick-up. Tim goes above and beyond to make sure we get the vehicle we want. We couldn't be happier. I would very strongly recommend that your next car purchase be from Auto Max - you won't be dissapointed with their great prices and service!

I have bought my last two vehicles from Auto Max and will go there for my next one when that time comes.They have a huge selection of vehicles and chances are you will find what you're looking for, if not I'm sure they can get it.The repair service is very professional and reasonable. I recently visited Auto Max with high hopes, based on some positive references. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations.
I was surprised to learn that they require a 50% down payment and charge an incredibly high 19% interest on the remaining balance.
This financing arrangement feels less like a fair business deal and more like a predatory practice, taking advantage of customers.
While I understand that businesses need to make a profit, this level of interest seems excessive.
I'm not sure what more I can advise...

Worst service!
Went to auto max and was redirected to Tim who was not interested in showing the vehicle, was just sitting on chair and didn’t even came out to show! Disrespected towards customers

Very friendly staff.
The service manager Gilbert Lauzon was very helpful and informative. Went with a few repairs and he was kind to take his time and explain what needs to be done and why.
Got my car back on the same day even before the promised time.
Very efficient service.

I am very enthusiastic about writing reviews, especially when it is a 5-star review.
I recently purchased a car from AutoMax, and I would like to express my gratitude to Tim for his exceptional service. I traded in my previous vehicle for one from AutoMax, and I found the deal to be fair and honest.
I would also like to thank the service manager, Gilbert, who provided me with a written quote for an issue that I had previously encountered at a different service center. He did not hesitate to assist me, even though I had not previously serviced my car at AutoMax. As a result of this positive experience, I now bring my car to AutoMax for all of its scheduled maintenance.
Unfortunately, I did encounter a misunderstanding regarding an issue that arose shortly after purchasing the vehicle. However, I reached out to the General Manager, George, and he not only took the time to thoroughly explain the situation to me, but he also demonstrated great interpersonal skills and friendliness.
In conclusion, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire AutoMax team for providing me with a truly exceptional experience.
