2 employees refused to open a chnage room for me 30 minutes before closing. Huge disappointment when the store is still open to shop.

Large store with plenty of options, really great, my grandma left her purse in the washroom and the store had just closed so it was a long shot getting it back that day, however the workers still answered the phone 10 minutes after close and grabbed the purse, let us drive back (another 10 minutes) and gave us the purse. This was 100% great employees, basically saved our day and was just because of their nature, there was no necessity to stay after close and extend their work day for us, genuinely so thankful and they are hopefully very appreciated. 10/10 customer service, amazing job and thank you to everyone working that day.

Prices here are nuts! So much price gouging going on. You can buy half of the stuff here brand new for cheaper than what they are offering it for here. I looked a couple weeks ago and a plain blue shirt with nothing on it was $9.00, that is insane.

A lady name Jaidyn was scanning my items on April 8th at 8:20pm. As she was scanning my items she asked if I would like to donate to the homeless today. I kindly said, “no thank you, not today.” She replied with, “seriously? And you are shopping here?” She rolled her eyes. Continued to scan my items. Then she states “it is seniors days but I can see you are not a senior either.” Honestly, I was in utter shock and didn’t have words to say towards this employee. She was unprofessional, rude, and inconsiderate. I am shopping at a thrift store!! Why should I feel obligated to donate. I also cannot afford to spend over my limit. I need to put clothing on my children and I am on a budget limit. Goodwill is over priced for the donated items they receive. Canada as a whole is struggling immensely. All classes in society are suffering! Goodwill should be ashamed to promote homeless people and asking for donations when they are maximizing the dollar for donated items that were given to them from the community for free!! I hope I don’t see Jaidyn working at this store or I won’t be returning.

Examples of “Deals” found in this store: $10 for a pair of used generic swim shorts that you could buy for the same price at Giant Tiger brand new. $12 for a heavily used T-Shirt because it had “Gap” on the inside label. Not enough price differential to bother. Out of style, most items don’t fit right / are too wrecked to even consider. I’ve even found items that are the same price as a new purchase.

I've been to this outlet several times because I like the location but I have to say, the staff are always rude and not helpful at all. I think today was the last straw. I waited several minutes for a cashier to come to the front, 2 staff members saw me and ignored me. A cashier finally came up and served a woman who had just arrived at another till, so I had to move over and get in line.

Might be last time of drop stuff off. Guy was rude and dumped my stuff from box into bin, probably breaking items they now cannot sell. Will go to Christian Thrift Store now
